Kodiak is a supporting antagonist in Season 7 of the TV series Arrow. He is an assassin and a member of the Longbow Hunters.
He was portrayed by Michael Jonsson.
Kodiak is first seen where he and the other Hunters steal an ultra-high density renewable battery from an A.R.G.U.S. facility. Later, he and Red Dart, along with Ricardo Diaz, are pursued by A.R.G.U.S. agents on a train and fight them, proving their fearsome capabilities. However, Diggle was able to retrieve and escape with the battery. A week later, Kodiak and the Hunters assist Diaz in breaking into C.D.C. and stealing vials containing a drug that enhances strength and presumably an immunity to drugs. During this, they encounter Rene Ramirez and F.B.I. agent Samandra Watson and they fight and overpower them. Although they were successful with the mission, Silencer was captured, but he assured Dart that she would be fine. Kodiak later witnesses Diaz inject himself the serum which successfully gave him powers.
Weeks later, Kodiak, along with the other Hunters, assisted Diaz in his attempt to blow up Star City with a nuclear-level explosive. Upon witnessing his capture at the hands of the new Green Arrow and Diggle, and knowing that their payment wasn't exactly worth it, they made their escape from Team Arrow. They were never seen after this.
Months later, Kodiak's home was breached by Oliver Queen and Diggle where they find out that he was the one who assassinated Kazumi Adachi, the mother of Emiko Queen's. Through interrogation, he loosely reveals that it was Dante who anonymously hired him to do so. It is unknown if whether or not he was arrested afterwards.
- In the DC Comics, Kodiak is the leader of the Shield Clan and a minor enemy of the Green Arrow, where he gained powers from a magical shield totem. It is unknown if the show's version of Kodiak has the same powers.
- His codename "Ursa", which translates to "Bear", is a possible reference to the Kodiak bear which he presumably got his alias from.
