He (Tyler) belongs in your bed chamber, not the council chambers.
~ Kol-Sha to L'Rell

Kol-Sha was a Klingon villain introduced in the Star Trek: Discovery epsode Points of Light.

He was portrayed by Kenneth Mitchell, who had earlier played his son General Kol.

Kol-Sha was the father of the Klingon warrior Kol, and like his son a General in the Klingon military. Following his son's death at the Battle of Pahvo, Kol-Sha took the leadership of the House of Kor and succeeded his son as the House's representative on the council.

As a leader of a noble house descended directly from Kahless, Kol-Sha continued the family tradition of looking down on most other Klingons, especially those who were outcasts from Klingon society. He was openly contemptuous of Ash Tyler, telling High Chancellor L'Rell that the cho'Ha altered Klingon belonged in her bed chamber and not the council chamber. The two men nearly came to blows while L'Rell was presenting the new D7 cruiser schematics to the High Council.

Learning that L'Rell had become pregnant by Voq prior to his transformation, Kol-Sha and his people broke into the headquarters of the House of Mo'kai. Killing Ujili and the other people in the headquarters, Kol-Sha kidnapped L'Rell and Voq's infant son and threatened to kill the child unless L'Rell abdicated and gave the role of chancellor over to him.

L'Rell and Tyler were able to kill several of Kol-Sha's guards but the elderly general stunned them both and used L'Rell's thumbprint to sign the abdication document. Roaring in the face of their impending doom, Kol and his crew died in the resulting explosion, ending Kol's plans to rule the Klingon Empire.

Kol-Sha was about to kill Tyler then followed by L'Rell but the mirror and now Section 31 agent Philippa Georgiou burst in to the chamber. Vaporizing the remainder of Kol-Sha's people, she trapped Kol-Sha in a force field and released Tyler and L'Rell from their paralysis. L'Rell swiftly killed Kol-Sha, putting his dreams of the House of Kor ruling the Empire to an abrupt end.

L'Rell and Tyler agreed with Georgiou that having Tyler remain on Qo'noS as her torchbearer would not work in the long run. Using a Federation synthezier they replicated a copy of Tyler's head along with that of their son. L'Rell presented the heads to the High Council, telling them that Tyler had turned against her, killed her son, and was about to hill her when Kol-Sha intervened and saved her life. Meanwhile Tyler and their son slipped away, with Tyler leaving the child at the monastery on Boreth to be raised by the monks there.
