Komuhachi is an octopus/komuso-themed Majin of the Space Pirates Balban under Budoh and a supporting antagonist in Seijuu Sentai Gingaman.
He was voiced by Toshihide Tsuchiya, best known as Cactus King from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and the Kritters from Super Mario Strikers. He also voiced Lionizer and Body Switcher in the Japanese dub of Power Rangers In Space. Serval years later he's now voicing the Sauna Grumer from Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger.

Komuhachi joined the Balban three thousand years ago when they were formed by Captain Zahab to destroy planets for Daitanix to eat and turn into Planet Life Jewels. Serving under Budoh, he was successful in helping the Balban in thier mission but was sealed away with the rest of the Balban when the original Gingamen defeated Zahab on Earth and placed a seal over them.

In 1997, the seal over the Balban is broken by a mysterious earthquake and they return to being active threats but Daitanix's seal remains intact which forces the Balban to focus on ways to revive him. When the Gingamen emerge to oppose them, Captain Zahab has to select a general to bring down the Gingamen so the generals present thier top monsters with Komuhachi being Budoh's pick. However, the general is ultimately decided by a game of poker with Sambash being chosen as the winner when he pulls a joker.
During the celebrations after the death of Daitanix, the Gingamen recall confronting Komuhachi as they recount thier adventures to Moak.
Komuhachi is later resurrected along with many other Majin by Captain Gregory as part of his plan to resurrect the Balban. However, he is killed for good by the Galactic Flash.
