Kongō (in Japanese: コンゴウ Kongō) is the supporting antagonist in the Naruto film Naruto the Movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom. He is a ninja worked for Shabadaba.
He is voiced by Hisao Egawa in Japanese and Keith Silverstein in English.
Kongō was arrogant alongside his teammates Ishidate and Karenbana. Like them, he was violent by how he attacked Naruto when he encountered him. When he was about to capture Hikaru Tsuki, he smiled and giggled at the child's terrified expression. When Naruto gains his nine-tails chakra mode and attacked Kongō, he whimpered and tried to get away from Naruto since he overpowered him. In his battle against Rock Lee, he was not fearful of him and thought that he was much stronger than him.
Kongō alongside Ishidate and Karenbana was hired by Shabadaba to go assist him in a coup against the ruler of the Crescent Moon Kingdom, Kakeru Tsuki. Their efforts in the coup was successful as they managed to assist Shabadaba in dethroning the previous ruler and allowing him to rule the country.
Kongō was tasked with going after Kakeru Tsuki's son, Michiro Tsuki, and capture him on Shabadaba's orders. Kongō and his team encountered the Leaf ninjas, Michiro, and Hikaru Tsuki (Michiro's son) on the beach. When the Leaf ninja faced them, Kongō attacked Naruto by punching and kicking him. Kongō proceeded to go after Hikaru when Shabadaba's forces were fighting and overwhelming the Leaf ninjas. As Kongō was about to capture Hikaru, Naruto used his nine-tails chakra mode to knock back Kongō. Fearful of Naruto's strength, he tried to get away until Karenbana distracted Naruto. Despite getting attacked by Naruto, Shabadaba's forces were able to capture Michiro and Kongō and the others retreats.
The next night, Kongō encountered the Leaf ninja when they manage to break into Shabadaba's castle to save Michiro. Kongō fought Rock Lee. In their fight, Rock Lee managed to knock back Kongō on a couple occasions but Kongō managed to overwhelm Rock Lee. After getting knocked back, Rock Lee activated the fifth gate. He threw Kongō into the air and severely pummeled him which resulted in him crash-landing onto the ground below killing him.
