Kongbot is a robotic member of the Virtual Warriors and an antagonist in episode 1 of VR Troopers. It is a gorilla-like robot that attacks by punching with its large, spiked fists. Its fists are also capable of firing off and exploding.
It was voiced by the late Tom Wyner.
Biography[]
Discovering that Ryan Steele, J.B. Reese and Kaitlin Star were en route to Professor Hart's laboratory, Grimlord ordered his forces to stop them before they could reach it. After the three became the VR Troopers, Kongbot was among the forces sent out to eliminate them. While Decimator dueled Ryan, Kongbot battled JB and Kaitlin. It at first overpowered the two Troopers until Professor Hart informed JB of the laser lance he possessed. With the laser lance, JB was able to strike down and destroy Kongbot.
