Kotemon

Kotemon is a a minor villain in season 1 and season 3 of Digimon Fusion.

Appearance

Kotemon is a Digimon that practices kendo with a bamboo sword. Although it doesn't say much, this Digimon works hard in the background. It never removes its armor, and no one has ever seen its true face.

Digimon Fusion

Season 1

Kotemon served as one of Musyamon’s minions in the Warrior Zone, guarding one of the entrances to Musyamon’s palace, just like Kabukimon and Caturamon. When Jeremy, Dorulumon, and the three red Monitamon broke into the Musyamon’s palace with the goal of rescuing Princess Babamon, it spotted them and tried to stop them. Jeremy faced it with his sword and he managed to beat it, but it wasn't certain if it would die when Jeremy beat it.

Season 3

In season three, Kotemon appeared in DigiQuartz, and he attacked Musashi Kenzaki, and then he asked him if he wanted to become stronger. But later when Ren Tobari’s Digimon partner, Dracmon, evolved into Yasyamon, Gumdramon evolved into Arresterdramon, and started fighting him against Yaskamon, but they weren’t strong enough. He then asks Tagiru to DigiFuse him and Gumdramon so they can defeat Yasyamon. And Tagiru asks him if he is prepared to be in the Fusion Loader, but he insists on DigiFusing with Gumdramon. Tagiru DigiFuses him and Gumdramon, creating XrosUpGumdramon, who defeats Yasyamon. And when Musashi woke up, he asks him if his lust for triumph is gone, and Musashi confirms this. Kotemon then tells him that true triumph comes when you beat an opponent with your true strength. After that, Tagiru and Musashi went back to the real world, and Musashi wins the tournament, heading on to the nationals. And right after the tournament he tells Musashi that his head strike was excellent and that he has nothing more to teach him. And Musashi promises to follow his teachings in kendo.
