Kralkatorrik, the Elder Dragon of Crystal and Fury, is the main antagonist of the "Living World Season 4" in Guild Wars 2 and the overarching antagonist of "The Icebrood Saga" and its expansion pack End of Dragons. He is voiced by Fred Tatasciore.
Biography[]
Kralkatorrik was born as the scion of the Elder Dragon Soo-Won. Initially mindless like the others, Kralkatorrik eventually developed their own personality and fascinations, being a hunter of mortals before he could even fly, and left Soo-Won for the world, becoming hostile to their siblings and mother.
Kralkatorrik could be found slumbering in the Charr Homelands in Guild Wars, being mistaken for a mountain for his appearance. While Kralkatorrik slumbered, however, Glint, his biological daughter, betrayed him by siding with the mortal races after becoming freed from Kralkatorrik's control. In 1320 AE, Kralkatorrik woke up, flying south over Ascalon and corrupting everything in his path, with the goal to kill his treacherous daughter. After that, he settled in the Crystal Desert, effectively preventing communication with Elona for the next several years. During the events of original Guild Wars 2, Kralkatorrik commanded his champions from the desert, with more and more of his minions marching south to join their master. Since the "Path of Fire" expansion, Kralkatorrik became one of the focal antagonists.
Appearance[]
Kralkatorrik has a dragon appearance with two wings and a tail, with his body being covered in purple crystals, and pulsing crystal blood in it. He has been described as being thousand feet tall, effectively being 20 times larger than his daughter. with his wings said to be able to block the sun. He can change his form to the one of a sandstorm or a living hurricane.
