Kratos is a minor antagonist of the manga Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Legend - Apocalypse of The Gods, a spin-off of the manga/anime series Record of Ragnarok.

Kratos is the Greek God of Strenght and the brother of Bia, who was tasked by Zeus along with his sister to punish Prometheus by continually beating him in front of the Titans for their amusement and to punish Prometheus for giving fire to Humanity.

Appearance[]

Kratos is a humanoid looking God with a bald head, completely white eyes and a long beard. He is quite muscular, does not wear shirts thus remaining constantly bare-chested, has a black armband on his left arm and wears long pants with boots.

Personality[]

Kratos is an extremely dutiful God who carries out all the orders of his superior Zeus, and when it comes to punishing traitors, he does it with extreme pleasure. However, he is also aware of the risks involved, and for this reason he makes sure to do everything well without taking any risks. He can't stand anyone who has the nerve to challenge him, and if something he doesn't expect happens, he's shocked.

Biography[]

Kratos is the Greek God of Strenght, as well as the brother of Bia. Following Prometheus' imprisonment for giving fire to Humanity, Zeus tasks Kratos and Bia with constantly punishing Prometheus in front of the Titans, so as to bring them amusement and at the same time make Prometheus pay. While Bia constantly fights Prometheus, Kratos makes sure everything goes as planned to avoid possible Titan uprisings.

One day, however, during one of the fights between Bia and Prometheus, Alcides, the future Heracles, arrives in the arena, while he is on his way to perform the Twelve Labors, and in front of what is happening he announces that when he becomes a God, he will change everything including those punishments. These words inspired Prometheus who, under the shocked gaze of Kratos, begins to react to Bia's blows and kills her by disintegrating her with a headbutt.

Powers and Abilities[]

Overall Abilities: As a God, Kratos possesses physical abilities far superior to those of any ordinary Human. His body cannot be damaged by mortal weapons, however it can still be damaged by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. For the same reason, Kratos is unable to die due to old age. Kratos is strong enough to break glass with his bare hands.

Trivia[]

  • Kratos in Greek Mythology represents the power of domination, as well as the power that subjugates and imposes itself on opponents and is the son of the Titan Pallas and the Oceanic Nymph Styx, as well as the brother of Nike, Zelus and Kratos.
  • This Kratos, despite having similar appearances, has nothing to do with Kratos, the eponymous protagonist of the popular video game series "God of War".
