Kratz Silvy is a minor antagonist of the manga New Mobile Report Gundam Wing Dual Story: G-Unit. He is a member of a trio of OZ ace pilots known as the Stardust Knights. However, unlike his comrades Roche Nattono and Broom Brooks, Kratz is far less honorable, even willing to betray them and work for Valder Farkill instead.
Personality[]
Unlike other members of Stardust Knights, Kratz is far from honorable and prefer to ruthlessly crush his foes. He is also willing to backstab his comrades for his own benefit. Throughout the series, after repeatedly being defeated at the hands of Gundams, he becomes increasingly vengeful and unhinged over for his revenge, which in the end cost him his own life.
Biography[]
Kratz, together with Roche Nattono and Broom Brooks, were a trio of OZ pilots known as the Stardust Knights. Together, they belonged to a special OZ squad known as OZ Prize, which directly works for Romefeller Foundation.
At some point, Dr. Berg, the scientist of the resources space colony MO-V, leaked the data of the two G-Units to Roche, the leader of OZ Prize. Thus, they started to carry out attacks on it. During their second attempt, Kratz was sent to combat them and fought Odel Bernett, who pilots the Gundam Geminass 02. Kratz's Leo-R didn't stand a chance and is quickly damaged, but since his role is to act as a bait, he fled. While Odel could tell it is a trap, his little brother, the more hot-headed Odin, fell for it. Thus, Odin was caught by Roche and Broom. Broom throw Odin and his Gundam Geminass 01 into space mines with the Leo-N. Meanwhile, Kratz is ready to blast the Gundam Geminass 01 with his beam canon, only for Odel to take the hit. After this, Kratz fled the scene.
Eventually, Roche received signals from Dr. Berg asking them to pick him up. As Roche is distracting Odin, Kratz and Broom led a squad of OZ Prize soldiers to attack MO-V, successfully picking up Berg. Before retreating, Kratz taunted the hot-headed Roche that their battle was already won.
Due to Roche wanting to be the one who beat Odin, he stepped in to stop the new pilot Sliver Crown, who was just a disguised Odel planning to defeat Odin. Dissatisfied, Berg secretly invited the Dark General of Destruction, Valder Farkill into joining his schemes, with Kratz happily going along due to him being fed up with “playing knight games".
Soon, Valder stepped in with his Hydra Gundam to take over OZ Prize, quickly killing Broom when he objected. Roche, in utter confusion, was told by Kratz about Valder and that he will take over OZ Prize. Kratz then struck down Roche's Leo-S, although he was saved by Odin .
Later, Sliver Crown would announce his plan to ram an asteroid into MO-V as a operation, with this even disturbing Kratz. However, Valder later found out that Odel was helping MO-V all along by using it to transport the Gundam Griepe to MO-V. Thus, Valder and Kratz, attacked the hero. Kratz volunteered to finish him off, but Odin stepped in in time and sliced off Leo-R's arm. After losing the fight, Kratz left the battle with Valder, alive but with wounded pride.
After the Armonia Sisters captured Odin and the Gundam Griepe. Roche volunteered to rescue him with the Gundam L.O. Booster. Kratz would be his first foe, and Roche completely stomped Kratz by slicing the Leo-R in half, but sparing him by not damaging the engine and cockpit. Seeing this, Kratz began to desire to have a Gundam of his own, so that he be more powerful.
During the final battle, Kratz's desire swill come true when Dr. Berg built him the Gundam Burnlapius, complete with the PX-System installed. He first fought Roche, and with the help of PX-System, he defeated them. Switching gears to Odel and Odin too, he found out that the Gundam Burnlapius didn't has a limiter for the PX-System, and while Odel warned Kratz about not overusing it, Kratz refused to listen. As a result, he ultimately overloaded the PX-System, frying his mind and causing the Gundam Burnlapius to self-destruct from overexertion.
