And I stood there looking at this small man, this farmer of rocks. Screaming on at me about his service to the king and the betrayal of our sacred nation. Him making demands of me. Knowing nothing of my life! My sacrifices for my king, my duty so often served. I wasn't on that field anymore. Krem of the Yellow Hills is the main antagonist of the 2021-2022 DC Comics mini series Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow by Tom King and Billquis Evely and its upcoming DCU 2026 film adaption of the same name.
In the film he is going to be played by Matthias Schoenaerts.
History[]
Killing Ruthye's Father[]
At some point before the events of the story Krem killed the father of Ruthye Marye Knoll.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow[]
Shooting Krypto[]
After killing Ruthye's father she serched for a bounty hunter to kill him. The hunter she tried to hire was however a friend of Krem's and warned him of the bounty. This likely led to him hunting down Ruthye himself where he discovered Supergirl, her spaceship and Krypto the Superdog. Krem fired two arrows into Supergirl's chest and one into Krypto's side before escaping in Supergirl's ship.
Arriving on Coronn and Joining Barbond's Brigands[]
After leaving his home planet Krem arrived on a planet named Coronn in a town called Maypole where he was quickly imprisoned for petty crimes. Soon after his arrest however a gang of genocidal space pirates known as Barbond's Brigands arrived to kill the people. Krem heard of this and offered the Brigands money and his assitance in the genocide of the discriminated against residents of Purple town, next to Maypole. Soon after the genocide Krem left the planet as a member of The Brigands.
Time as a Brigand and re-encoutering Supergirl[]
After Joining the Brigands Krem would partake in their Genocidal activities. Eventually Krem has killed enough people to be able to use a Mordru Globe. Eventually he re-encoutered Supergirl and Ruthye and used the Mordru Globe to try and kill them by sendeng them to a planet with a Kryponite sun.
Supergirl's Return and Capture[]
Despite his attempt Supergirl and Ruthye survied the attempt and faced Krem again. This time Supergirl managed to escape Krem's Orb by ridding Comet the Superhorse to the edge of the universe, where magic doesn't exsist. After the battle Krem was captured and tied to a tree while the rest of the Brigands were defeated byy Supergirl and Comet. During the this time Krem revealed to Ruthye that he killed her father for not laughing at his joke. Later he convinced Ruthye to cut him free from the tree leaded to a duel where Ruthye cut his fingres off. While in pain from this Supergirl arrived to kill him. However he was insted sent to 800 years in the phantom Zone.
Release from the Phantom Zone[]
800 years after he was sent to the Phantom Zone an elderly Krem was released, only for an elderly Ruthye to kill him with her cane.
Powers and Abilities[]
Krem is shown to be a skilled swordsman and archer. Later he is shown to have some skill with magic as he is able to create the Mordru Globe.

Krem is going to be the main villain of the 2026 film Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow in the DC Universe Media Franchise. He will be played by Matthias Schoenaerts.
Trivia[]
- Krem inadventently motivates Supergirl to hunt him down by shooting Krypto, her dog. This is similar to Iosef Tarasov in "John Wick" who motivates John Wick by killing his dog.
