Kremzeek is a minor antagonist from the original Transformers series and the main antagonist of the episode "Kremzeek!". It is an energy being that the Decepticons use as a weapon against the Autobots.
He was voiced by Wally Burr.
Biography[]
Kremzeek was accidentally created by Megatron and Starscream during an experiment of making electrodes for an energy magnet. It began causing electrical equipment around them to malfunction, so Megatron decided to use it to distract the Autobots, having Thrust bring it the Ark. Kremzeek damaged every Autobot present except Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Blaster, Inferno and Omega Supreme, all of whom but the latter were soon protected by Sparkplug's Insulating Spray. Kremzeek also destroyed many of the machines, before jumping into Teletraan I's screen showing Japan. The remaining Autobots traveled to Japan to stop Kremzeek.
Since Omega Supreme was not protected, Kremzeek managed to incapacitate him before he could escape. Kremzeek proceeded to wreak havoc in Tokyo, damaging a bullet train, a person's walkman, and an arcade game machine. The Autobots chased it to the Shibuya Manufacturing Corporation building, where it began destroying the television sets being produced. Sōji Yoshikawa, the chief engineer there, suggested Blaster to weaken it with radio waves. This did not affect it at all, as Kremzeek leaped into Blaster's chest compartment and fed of his energy, multiplying as a result.
To bring them back together, Prime devised a plan in which the Autobots jury-rigged a tower and charged it with energy. Though the Autobots lured them there, the Kremzeeks combined into one giant energy being and continued to terrorize the city. Inferno shot foam at it, but it was no use, and Kremzeek threw it back at the Autobots. Soon, the Autobots and Kremzeek started feeling the effects of the Decepticons' energy magnet. The Autobots used a nearby radio tower to broadcast Kremzeek to the magnet, which it destroyed.
As Kremzeek was eating energy from the wreckage, the Autobots arrived with equipment that Yoshikawa could use to disperse it. Bumblebee was initially against the plan, regarding the creature to be cute, but Optimus Prime successfully destroyed it once and for all. As the Autobots were ready to return home, Blaster remarked he was missing Kremzeek somehow. At that moment, a single Kremzeek jumped out of his body and the Autobots started pursuing it again.
