Kudgel, (called グラッバ, Glubba, in Japan), is a large, muscular, club-wielding Kremling and a boss in the game Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest working for Kaptain K Rool. Kudgel greatly resembles Klubba and is, in fact, a color-swap of him. Despite this, he actually has a weakness and more attack and moving animations.
Kudgel is found at the end of Krem Quay, in the level "Kudgel's Kontest". He is defeated with TNT Barrels. Kudgel's main attack pattern is to jump, land (which causes an earthquake and will temporarily stun Diddy and Dixie if they're on the ground) and, after a couple of jumps, swing his large club. The club's massive size gives him excellent range and easily injures a Kong if they're stunned. With each TNT barrel hit, his jumps will be shorter, but his earthquakes will stay and stun longer. After a long bombardment of TNT, he will finally be defeated, flying into the swampy background.
He presumably perished, as he did not make a reappearance in the game's semi-sequel, Donkey Kong Land 2, due to the Game Boy's system limitations and how Crocodile Cauldron and Krem Quay were merged to Krem Cauldron and how Kleever was the boss instead.
