| ~ Kugutsukai after growing giant. |
Kugutsukai is a Kosode-no-te-themed Ayakashi who serves under Akumaro and is able to control people with strings like a puppeteer and is the main antagonist in episode 30 of the 2009 TV series called Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.
He is voiced by Taketora who previously voiced an Oil Banki and later voiced the Zan-KT series.
History[]
Kugutsukai made his first appearance on the Rokumon Junk in the Sanzu River where he was introduced to Doukoku Chimatsuri and Shitari of the Bones by his boss as he was manipulating the humans on earth from within the Sanzu River. So he then began to Target the Takashiro Academy, where Kugutsukai intends to create a puppet army out of the student body.
He was discovered by Ryunosuke at the art studio he then battles the team. However he used his army to attack the Shinkengers. He still have advantage from the front assault, but not from underneath as he was then sneaked attack. After that Kugutsukai is then slain by Super ShinkenBlue thus freeing the civilians that were under his control.
However Kugutsukai revived himself as a Mega Monster as he battles Shinken DaiGoyou and DaiKaiOh Kita in its North Mode after that he was then destroyed by this finisher called Jitte Straight.

- His appearance and abilities are the basis of the Kosode-no-te (小袖の手) of Japanese myth.
- He is the only of Akumaro's Ayakashi without a Nighlok counterpart.
