Kumanomi is a major antagonist in the action manga series Sakamoto Days. She is a member of Slur's Group, working with other assassins of the group to destroy the Japanese Association of Assassins. Like her allies, she used to be an orphan at the Al-Kamar orphanage.
Appearance[]
Kumanomi is a woman in her early 20s with a slender build and lime green-colored short
hair attaining her shoulders and eyes, and eyebrows of the same colors. She typically carries an indifferent expression. She wears a pair of distinctive moon-shaped earrings at her ears. She normally sports a short navy jacket that reveals her stomach, paired with short shorts linked to her boots, and gloves adorned with metallic plates on the backs. While she triumphed against a battle against Hyo, she had to sacrifice her a large portion of her right arm to escape from underwater. She subsequently substituted her missing limb with a dark gray mechanical arm equipped with an energy core on the hand's dorsal.
Personality[]
Kumanomi displays a very cold and relatively emotionless nature, showing no regards for the life of passing-by residents during her battle against, who is the opposite. She takes advantage of Hyo's concern over the lives of innocents by either attempting to harm them only to have her attacks blocked by Hyo, as a way to distract him. With a mere glare, Kumanomi can easily intimidate Gaku and Slur, two of the strongest assassins of their group.
Slur notes Kumanomi as a highly divisive individual, fiercely devoted to her allies yet merciless to foes. Her duality is illustrated when she interrogated Hyo about Gaku's ear following his own self-mutilation, and when she maintained a calm but intense rage over Uda's passing. Furthermore, Kumanomi is portrayed as cold-hearted, mocking Heisuke Mashimo for his principles of mercy and keeping non-combatants out of warfare. She is straightforward, pragmatic, and unemotional, but also upholds formalities, commending Mafuyu for revealing his face and almost killing Kashima for failing to do so. Reflecting her courteous nature, she addresses Uda with "Mr".
