Kumo Doubler (クモダブラー Kumo Daburā, lit. Spider Doubler) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Gavan who appears in episode 23. He is a spider-like Doubler who disguised himself as a strange man in a black suit and black top hat and kidnaps many human women to bring them into his lab as a test subject for their bestialization with his beatial hormones in order to help Makuu bring the new blood type to the Beast Empire.
He was voiced by late Eisuke Yoda, who also voiced Volcano Mask General Magman in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Shine in J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, Führer Taboo in Dai Sentai Goggle V, and Lu-Long, Parchis, Demost and Silver Shark in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya. His human form was portrayed by late Shouhei Yamamoto, who also played as Oil Snake in Symbol of Justice Condorman, Mouse Monster in The Kagestar, and General Giluke in Dengeki Sentai Changeman.
Biography[]
The Kumo Doubler, as a mysterious man in a black suit and a top hat in disguise, enter an apartment where Retsu's friend Kojiro lives and captured his friend Keiko, leaving Kojiro to get arrested until Retsu and Tsukiko bailed him out of trouble. The following next days, he went out to capture more beautiful women through from the streets, the bar and finally the gym bathroom. However, it was actually revealed that he only captured many beautiful women into his lab to bestialized them into a human-demon hybrid with his bestial hormones he has developing as part of Makuu's plans to bring the new type of blood to the Beast Empire.
In order to lure the Doubler away, both Kojiro and Tsukiko decide to acts as a bait for him by pretending like if they were dating, which proven to be successful as the Doubler managed to capture the latter. Retsu went out to save Tsukiko, but only to be attacked by the Doubler. After Retsu transformed into Gavan, the Doubler managed to escape from him with no trace left behind which Gavan couldn't find him anywhere, even when using Laser Scope as well.
The next morning, the Doubler proceed to do the wedding play with himself as a groom, Tsukiko as a bride and the other women he captured as Tsukiko's bridesmaids. When he was about to bestialized Tsukiko, Retsu breaks into his lab and freeing Tsukiko from being brainwashed by throwing away his spider from his suit, before the Doubler revealed his true form. After Retsu transformed into Gavan, both him and the Doubler later fought before they're dragged into a Makuu Space. The Doubler then lead the fighters into fired on Gavan, which he had to call upon Dol to deal with them. Despite being struggled against fighting him, Gavan managed to finish him off with Gavan Dynamic.
