Kuon (クオン) is the secondary antagonist of No.1 Sentai Gozyuger. Formerly known as Hisamitsu Tono (遠野 久光 Tōno Hisamitsu), he is an older brother of Hoeru Tono, and was presumably thought to have been killed when they were abducted to No One World. After escaping the No One World and changing his name to Kuon, he founded Kuon AI Konzern, a company specializing in artificial intelligence.
Kuon is also a member of No One World Buraidan, working directly under Queen Tega June as an assassin who can transform into Ring Hunter Garyudo (リングハンター・ガリュード Ringu Hantā Garyūdo), and is tasked to collect the Sentai Rings for her.
He is portrayed by Karuma.
Biography[]
Past[]
As a child, Hisamitsu Tono was a progidy who excelled at everything he did, making him a role model for his younger brother Hoeru. One day, the two of them were caught alongside a group of strangers and suddenly appeared in No One World. Hisamitsu and Hoeru were separated during the incident, leading the latter to believe that his brother had died.
After escaping No One World, Kuon founded an AI company, Kuon AI Konzern. He also joined the Buraidans and became the Ring Hunter Garyudo, killing the Universe Warriors Spade Ace, DenziRed, GekiRed, Gosei Red and Aka Ninger and claiming their Sentai Rings.
No.1 Sentai Gozyuger[]
Kuon first appears as Garyudo and kills Meguru Asai, the TyrannoRanger Universe Warrior, as he collects the Zyuranger Sentai Ring and celebrates the Gozyugers becoming a team. Kuon later visits Tega Sword Village café and reunites with Hoeru. He introduces him to his AI Konzern and offers him to join the company. Kuon and Hoeru later arrive as the other Gozyugers fight Fire Candle and the Aryee. Kuon manipulates Hoeru and tells him that he has no reason teaming up with his comrades and fight for justice since he has no wish. This convinces Hoeru to fight his fellow Gozyugers and Fire Candle alike, as Garyudo also showcases his skills to the other Gozyugers.
Personality[]
While initially presenting himself as a well-mannered brother for Hoeru and is very happy to see him again, Kuon only views Hoeru as a puppet to control. When they first meet, he briefly succeeds in turning Hoeru against the other Gozyugers.
He also doesn't get along with the other Buraidans except for Tega June. Fire Candle especially can't stand him, since both want to be the once to defeat Hoeru in a battle.

- TegaJune (テガジューン Tega Jūn): Ring Hunter Garyudo's transformation device and sidearm. Modelled after Queen Tega June herself, it's a gauntlet-like gun that is used by Garyudo to transform, summon clones of red Rangers and summon Queen Tega June herself as a mecha.
- Sentai Rings (センタイリング Sentai Ringu): By inserting the Sentai Rings into Tega June, Ring Hunter Garyudo can summon clones of red Rangers. By shooting the Rangers he can turn them into their own weapons and equip them in battle.
Trivia[]
- His ability to summon past Sentai Rangers as evil Rangers is similar to those of Stacaesar from Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, Basco ta Jolokia from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and Kamen Rider Diend from Kamen Rider Decade.
