Kurozaru is a traitorous member of the Flower Ninja Clan who sought to obtain the Devil King armor for himself and the main antagonist of episodes 17 and 18 of Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya.
He was portrayed by Bun Nakamura.
Biography[]
Kurozaru was once an orphan boy before she was taken in by the Flower Ninja Clan's leader, Genichiro Murakami, and was trained by him to become a Flower Ninja alongside an orphan girl named Yumeha.
As an adult, Kurozaru worked as a gardener in a hotel owned by the Flower Ninja Clan, while secretly operating as one of their top ninjas. Fearing that the Flower Ninja Clan would soon become irrelevant, Kurozaru secretly made an alliance with the Sorcerers Clan and began plotting a coup against the clan leader with half the Flower Ninjas to take the Devil King armor for themselves.

Genichiro soon called a meeting of the Flower Ninjas after hearing that the Sorcerers Clan was targeting the Devil King. However, it was at this meeting that Kurozaru proposed using the Devil King armor's power for themselves to keep their clan from becoming irrelevant. After Genichiro refused, Kurozaru revealed his pact with the Sorcerers Clan and promptly staged a coup against Genichiro with half the Flower Ninja Clan's members. After slashing his mentor in the back while he was still unprepared, Kurozaru finished him off, but was unable to stop Yumeha from fleeing.
Kurozaru pursued Yumeha with Retsukiba of the Sorcerers and his band of traitorous ninjas, but she met up with Toha Yamaji and the two were able to fight off Kurozaru and his allies before escaping via speedboat. However, Kurozaru and the Sorcerers Clan later followed Yumeha to learn the Devil King's hiding place. He revealed himself after Yumeha went to unearth the Devil King armor to use against him and, despite Yumeha's best efforts, she was unable to stop Kurozaru from obtaining the Devil King for himself and putting it on. Yumeha and Jiraiya attempted to face off against Kurozaru, but were overwhelmed by the power of the Devil King.
It was then that Org Ninja Dokusai congratulated Kurozaru and offered him a spot in the Sorcerers Clan, declaring him "Evil Ninja Kurokiba". However, having been possessed by the Devil King's overwhelming power, Kurozaru announced that he intended to rule over everyone, including the Sorcerers Clan, and broke off his alliance with them.
Kurozaru was later faced again by Jiraiya and Yumeha. Having managed to clear their heads of thoughts of the Devil King, the two ninjas were able to get the better of Kurozaru despite the Devil King's might. Kurozaru was slain by Jiraiya with a slash from his Light Vacuum Sword, leaving behind only the Devil King.
