Copy Ninja Kurrisotsubo is the minor antagonist of Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger, appearing in Episode 3 as the primary antagonist. He is the member of Jakanja's Alien Ninja Corps led by Chuuzubo and is a chameleon chūnin that uses the Space Ninpou "Kuriso-Copy" to create clones of people. He was sent to Earth and tasked by his master Tau Zant to destroy the Hurricanegers and destroy Tokyo and then destroy the Earth in order to invoke the Evil Will, which Tau Zant needed for his plan of destroying and recreating the universe under his command.
He was voiced by Isao Yamagishi.
Biography[]
Copy Ninja Kurrisotsubo was recruited by Tau Zant and Chuuzubo to help them destroy the Hurricanegers to make them not interfere with Jakanja's plans and destroy Tokyo. Kurrisotsubo was first seen disguised as a film producer at the JMP Terebi studios, sent by Chuuzubo with the mission was to trick the Hurricanegers into joining his film and having them absorbed into his camera equipment which he could then destroy, therefore killing the trapped ninjas as well. However, Oboro detected the activities of Jakanja in the city and told the Hurricanegers about it. Nanami heard about the filming on the studios and was excited, deciding to go to the studios and participate in the audition. Hurricanegers arrived at the JMP Terebi studios and hid in the different parts of the building. Nanami stopped at posters for an audition. Furabijou noticed the HurricaneBlue. Nanami saw a director and saw a young girls singing. Nanami was excited and the director came to her and offered her to sing. Nanami was excited of the director's offer, not realizing that director was a Jakanja's monster in disguise. Nanami came to the microphone and started singing, but suddenly microphone glowed and a clone of her appeared. Nanami was sucked inside the microphone. Furabijou appearred and she was pleased.
Yousuke and Kouta were at the warehouse and haven't found anything strange but met up with the clone Nanami. The real Nanami wss trapped in the other dimension with other captives. She saw a man overreacting through a hole and then saw the real person with her and realizes she has been replaced. Nanami also met the real producer of the studios as well.
While Nanami tried to cheer up the captured people and tried to unsuccessfully escape the dimension, the clone of Nanami led Yousuke and Kouta to the studios and Kurrisotsubo, disguised as the producer offered the boys to sing and the Hurricanegers agred, being unaware of the Jakanja's trap. Nanami tried to transform, but failed and so she tried another ninja magic and by saying "Nimpo Mizumashira!", she summoned the waterspout taking her upwards. Nanami ran to save her comrades, and Yousuke and Kouta already started singing and were about to be sucked into the dimension, but Nanami knocked down the microphone, saving her friends and revealing Kurrisotsubo's true form.
While Nanami fought her clone, Yousuke and Kouta fought Kurrisotsubo. Nanami blasted her clone with her weapon, throwing the double in the air and making her explode. Kurrisotsubo then summoned the Genin Magerappa to aid him in battle, but they were all easily defeated in the Five Ninjas, Shadow Dance. Kurrisotsubo decided to take on the Rangers himself and fought Yousuke and Kouta. The boys fought the copy ninja but Kurrisotsubo blasted them and gained the upper hand, but Nanami used her Ultra Ninja Art: Water Camouflage attack on him and summoned a water illusion, causing Kurrisotsubo to sink into the water. Inside the water, she slashed him up with her Portable Ninja Sword and blasted a gush of water at the space ninja. Nanami then took out Kurrisotsubo with her Ultra Ninja Art: Eroding Stream Outside. Outside, the Hurricanegers defeated Kurrisotsubo with their Sonic Gadget. All the people were freed from the dimension and replaced their evil clones.
Chuuzubo went to Tao Zant, having found what he needed and called for a scroll from his backpack and wrote up a spell on a parchment. It rolled up and he gave it to Wendinu. She put it inside a cannon and released it to the Earth. The scroll picked up the leftover pieces and made Kurisottsuba giant. The Rangers formed Senpujin to fight Kurrisotsubo, but the evil ninja multiplied and created dozens of clones of himself. Kurrisotsubo temporarily overpowered Senpujin and Nanami asked sensei for help and Mugensai declared it was the time. Oboro told the heroes if they used Hurry Up, they would be able to fight with Senpuujin Harrier, but only for sixty seconds. The Rangers used the Hurrier Mode for the first time land destroyed the illusion, destroying all Kurrisotsubo's clones and overwhelming the villain. After defeating his clones, the heroes transformed back into their Battle Mode and defeated the villain with their Copy Illusion Slash by using the Sword Slasher. Jakanja leaders witnessed the defeat of their soldier and were shocked. Furabijo was especially shocked of their plan's failure.
