The Kurumajus (苦魔獣 Kurumajū), otherwise known individually as Grumers (グルマー Gurumā), are the object-themed elite warriors of the Great Space Invasion Running Team Hashiryan and the antagonists in Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger.
After a Kurumaju is killed, during the initial stages of the series, Yaiyai Yarucar absorbs enough Ghassolin to go into an insane state and speed down the Highway Dimension where he enters and loses a race. Enraged, he emerges on Earth and sprays Ghassolin over where the Kurumaju was killed; creating a Ghassolin Big Rampage Body and resurrecting them as giants. After bering upgraded by Cannonborg though, Yaiyai simply fires the Highway Beam to instantly enlarge the Kurumaju without the need for the driving sequence.
Species History[]
Instead of being pre-existing monsters, the Kurumaju are created by the Sanseaters infecting an inanimate object (such as a wedding dress of ATM) with the Ignition Key. Using their various abilities based around their themes, they are used to make humans suffer and scream so they can gather their human scream energy or "Ghassolin" for unknown purposes. Upon their permanant deaths, all effects the Kurumaju have on people are undone.
The first Kurumaju created is Wedding Dress Grumer who is created by Itasha to graft wedding dresses onto people so they scream and suffer enough to generate Ghassolin. Although the plan is initially successful, he is later killed by the newly emerged Bakuage Sentai Boonboomgers.
