| ~ Kuwano confronting Chieko Kawaguchi |
Kuwano is the main antagonist of Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga one-shot Sasaki Stopped a Bullet. He's a former classmate of Chieko Kawaguchi whose life entered a downward spiral after she rejected him in highschool. Years later, he'd invade one of her classes with a gun in order to get his revenge on her for what he deemed as "justice".
In Tatsuki Fujimoto 17–26 he will be voiced by Yoichi Okano.
History[]
During his teenage years, Kuwano went to the same school as Chieko Kawaguchi and had a huge crush on her. According to his own words, he used to be a gifted child who had great grades and was slated to go to the Tokyo University. However, after confessing to Kawaguchi and getting rejected by her during the second year, Kuwano's life as well as his mental state began spiraling.
Years later, after Kawaguchi became a teacher, Kuwano invaded her classroom with a gun and confronted her about her rejection, blaming her for ruining his life and saying he was there to punish her. Desperate, Kawaguchi begged him to not hurt her students, saying that she would let him do anything he wanted to her. Hearing this, Kuwano tells her that he wants to have sex with her, to which she bregrudgingly accepts.
Hearing the confrontation going down, Sasaki, a student who also harbored feelings for Kawaguchi, stood up for her and tells Kuwano to stop. Despite Kawaguchi desperately telling Sasaki to sit down, he still persists and tries to defend her dignity. Angered, Kuwano pulls out his pistol and shoots directly at him. In an act of pure absurd miracle, much to everyone's surprise, Sasaki manages to stop the bullet mid air with his hand by grabbing it.
In pure disbelief, Kuwano asks Sasaki who he was, to which he responds by lying that he was from the future and knew the trajectory of the bullet. Although he initially doesn't believe it, he quickly goes along with it, given the absurdity of the entire situation. Seeing, this, Kuwano asks Sasaki what happens to his future self, saying that he thinks that he's going to get arrested, released in 10 years and die a homeless virgin. Sasaki, taking advantage of the situation, convinces him that he's actually going to have a happy life after jail, get accepted into the Tokyo University and then start a family with an hypothetical girlfriend. He then tells him that he must save himself for a special person, leading to him finally surrendering.
It's unknown what happened to Kuwano by the end of the story, but it is heavily implied that he got arrested by the authorities after the incident, though his whereabouts after that are unknown.
