Kyōsuke Mamō is a minor antagonist in the original Lupin III manga who appears as the main antagonist of chapter 83.

Appearance[]

Kyōsuke Mamō is a man with light straw-like hair who dons a cape.

Biography[]

Manga[]

While Lupin was driving about without care for his future, Kyōsuke Mamō confronts him on the road. Lupin tells him to run off. Kyōsuke tells him that in April 2883, his father was killed by Lupin's descendant, Lupin the 33rd. While Kyōsuke acknowledges his old man was a notorious villain he asks Lupin if he can fathom the hatred he feels for the Lupin family and seeks to kill off the Lupin bloodline.

Lupin demands a fight, but Kyōsuke refuses as he finds it to be a waste of his time as he had a time machine he can use to travel back in time to kill Lupin's great grandfather with advances to science such as this. With the death of said ancestor Lupin's family will be erased from history.

With use of his time machine, Kyōsuke Mamō finds himself in the Showa era rather than the Meiji era like he anticipated. Crossing paths with a young Goemon Ishikawa, Kyōsuke predicted he will become a partner to Lupin III. Fujiko Mine realizes how much of a threat Kyōsuke will pose to Lupin and insists that she and company head to his aid.

When Lupin was having sex with Fujiko, she suddenly vanishes with Kyōsuke Mamō revealing he killed her ancestor. Kyōsuke also revealed he learned Lupin's ancestor was Jirokichi who was just a peasant who cannot fight. Once he is slain the Lupin clan will be erased from history.

Kyōsuke Mamō also does not consider Lupin's request to change his mind and Lupin surrenders and asks one last request to bring a picture of Lupin's descendants. Kyōsuke Mamō tries to honour this promise only to find an image of someone else.

Kyōsuke Mamō arrives on August 23rd of the Kaei period where he comes across a farmer who identifies himself as Jirokichi when asked for him. He also plans to marry a woman named Milane Lupin. Kyōsuke was about to shoot him when he suddenly gets fatally slashed through the chest, with the reveal that this was a setup.
