Kyle, is a minor antagonist of the satirical visual novel Class of '09: The Re-Up. He is a student who became obsessed with Jecka after helping her cheat on a test.
He was voiced by Joshua Waters.
Biography[]
Kyle appears in the specific route when Nicole and Jecka choose to skip school to smoke cigarettes at Nicole's house. While smoking, Nicole's brother catches them and threatens to tell their mom what he saw unless they get him a pizza. When Nicole and Jecka go to the barcade to get a pizza, they find Kyle is there, also skipping school to play video games. Kyle recognizes Jecka and asks her on a date, but Jecka declines because she doesn't know him. Kyle explains that they had a class together in which he helped her cheat on a test to get a B- and that he's been in love with her since. Nicole and Jecka mockingly state that he would've had a better chance at getting with her if he had gotten an A, and that he'd have to do something extraordinary to be with Jecka, like murder his mother. Kyle seems perturbed by their request, and the two leave with the pizza.
When Nicole and Jecka get back to her house, they discover that Nicole's brother was arrested for possession of child pornography while they were gone. The next day, Nicole's brother calls her phone to ask her to smuggle the pizza into the prison, which Nicole and Jecka say is a stupid idea because he's already allowed to have pizza in jail, and Nicole's brother recognizes Jecka's voice and says that Kyle is in jail with him and wants to talk to her.
When Kyle gets on the phone, he says that he thought about what they said, and took their offer seriously, going through with murdering his mother in a display of affection for Jecka and was consequently arrested and sentenced to 10 years in prison. He begs Jecka to date him when his sentence is over, but Jecka becomes disturbed and tells Nicole to disconnect the call.
Afterwards, Nicole comforts Jecka saying that if he followed through with killing his mom, she was "probably a bitch anyway" and that, because a boy killed for her, she's "officially the hottest girl in school," which seems to reassure her.
