Biography[]

Kyle Marsh is a drug dealer who is involved in a debt with a gang. He plans to sell a bag of drugs to acquire enough money to pay off his debt, but ends up being involved in a collision when a lorry carrying gas cannisters tips over and causes a major car crash. Kyle becomes unnerved with the police presence and attempts to make excuses to leave, but is ordered by paramedic Jacob to remain. Kyle takes the chance to speed off in his car, but only ends up knocking one of the cannisters and crashing his vehicles. This causes the lorry to blow up, killing the injured driver inside and injuring others in close proximity, which includes corrupt police officer Harry Sinclair. Kyle's drug stash is found and he is arrested by police, who then take him to Holby City Hospital for treatment.

Doctor Stevie Nash believes that Kyle is carrying a knife, although he seemingly disproves this by revealing it to be a shiny wrapper from a stick of gum. But Stevie's instincts prove to be true when it transpires that Kyle is armed. He knocks out his police guard, and disappears. He later raids the hospital pharmacy of medication, planning to sell it on and hopefully settle his debt. Veteran nurse Charlie Fairhead comes face to face with Kyle in a corridor, and grills him about the contents of the box of drugs he is carrying. The box ends up being scattered, and Kyle orders Charlie at knife point to pick it up. Charlie attempts to appease to Kyle and is convinced he wouldn't deliberately stab somebody. But Charlie is proven wrong when Kyle stabs him in a scuffle, and proceeds to flee with the drugs and leave an injured Charlie behind.
