Kyo (One Piece)

Kyo, later known as Silver Axe, is a minor antagonist in the manga/anime series, One Piece. He was a mobster and hitman that later became a crew member of the Rocks Pirates. He was also a rival of Shiki the Golden Lion.

Personality[]

Kyo was infamously known for being a violent hitman and mobster, earning him great fear amongst various other pirates and criminals. Unlike most members in his crew, Kyo was one of the few that expressed interest in joining Rocks willingly, likely because he saw his goal of world domination as an opportunity to build his reputation.

For the most part, Kyo was a calm and stoic individual, who rarely ever expressed emotes. However, much like some of his fellow crew members, he was immensely captured by Shakky and competed for her affections.

While he didn't seem to have any hostile feelings towards his captain, he was most notably hostile with his past rival, Shiki, who would always try to get rid of him whenever the opportunity presented itself, earning much of Kyo's wrath and hatred for him.

Trivia[]

Kyo's rivalry with Shiki appears to mirror that with Silvers Rayleigh and Scopper Gaban's, with the two being designated by two respective metals, silver and gold.
