Kyoichiro is a major character in Yozakura Family. He is very overprotective of Mutsumi and hates Taiyo with a passion because he disproves of him as Mutusmi's husband.
Personality[]
Kyoichiro is stalker-obsessed with his little sister Mutsumi and would stop at nothing to keep her safe. He consequently becomes too protective of her and would stop at nothing to keep others at bay. His tactics range from intimidation and extortion to potentially murder and torture, especially if the victims are young boys. Along with being too attentive and eager to spend time with her, he also shows her a lot of affection.
Due to his actions, Kyochiro is thought to be quite weird and bothersome by many people (including his own family), and he was even selected as "The Spy I Would Want to Kill Most!" in Weekly Spy.
Taiyo Asano, the husband of Mutsumi Asano, is another target of Kyoichiro's intense hatred, and the latter has even ordered a "Easy to Understand Encyclopedia of Torture" to do just that. Despite his eccentricities, Kyoichiro is still a trustworthy person and will defend all of his loved ones, even if he ends up dying in the process. After all, he once made a promise to Taiyo that he would save him even if it meant dying. As he defends him as "Mutsumi's husband," his tolerance, acknowledgment, and acceptance of him eventually came full circle.
He has a lot of kid-friendly tendencies because of his older sibling. After seeing infant Taiyo, he once had a severe breakdown that left him standing motionless like he was dead. Another time, unable to decide on a present for Ai, he passed out on the floor.
Kyoichiro is incredibly sensitive and compassionate even as a young child. He would always take the chance to properly compliment his siblings. He referred to Taiyo as Big Brother when he was a child and was pleased that 'little Mutsumi' had already found love. He expressed his own fears that everyone would despise him after seeing how they behaved around him because of his protective personality, but Taiyo reassured him that he is the trustworthy older brother that everyone looks up to him.
