L is a minor antagonist in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. He is a member of the Consuls.
Appearance[]
While only encountered in his Moebius form in-game, the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Collector's Edition artbook depicts L's Consul form as tall and slender, with green eyes. His armor, while the standard red color with a purple core and cape, features a jackal-like helmet to make him stand out.
Biography[]
Little is known about L's origins. When the Kevesi Colony 5 recently reached Gold Ranking, it was targeted to be destroyed by the Consuls so they could harvest their life energy. L volunteered alongside X, although it is never made clear if L was the Consul for the colony or not.
In Eunie's Side Story, the Ouroboros are tasked by Colony 4 commander Bolearis to investigate why they suddenly lost contact with Colony 5 and meetup with Colony 5's commander Orsolya, as she was a good ally to the late Colony 4 commander Ethel. By the time the Ouroboros arrive within the cave that contains the colony, they find four soldiers, explaining that the colony was suddenly attacked by a giant monster.
After helping the soldiers escape from the caverns, the Ouroboros return to the cave to rescue the colony, only to discover that everyone else has been killed. They spot Moebius L killing Orsolya, to which X appears and criticizes him for she could've used her for later. The team confront the two for why they would do such a thing. X responds that Moebius was to massacre the colonies once they reach Gold Rank. In their rage, the team face the two and kill L, but X manages to escape.
