Ladros is a supporting antagonist in the Black Clover franchise. He was a part of the Diamond Kingdom's army that raided the Witches Forest, where he was defeated by Asta. He then attempted to redeem himself by siding with Mars, in hope of recreating the Diamond Kingdom.
He is voiced by Takeshi Kusao in Japanese and by Chris Gardner in English.
Appearance[]
Ladros is a relatively blond tall man of muscular build in his early 20s. Similarly to Mars, he has a gems on his forehead but are red and in a horizontal shape as well as a circular one on his torso. He wore a long dark fur sleeveless attire that covers his shoulder and arrives at the his legs orned with the same gems on his body, and a badge of the Diamond Kingdom. Under he was in a white uniform that exposes his torso and has also a belt with the red gems over it. Additionally because of his personality, he always carries a sadistic smile on his face until his defeat with Asta.
Personality[]
Ladros openly displays an incredibly sadistic and obnoxious attitude. He shows no regret at betraying even his own ally such as he recklessly murders all of them in the Witch’s Forest. Furthermore he even admitted his selfishness, believing that friends are only useful to get yourself more powerful and that they are no longer useful to him once he becomes stronger than them.
This would later on change after he was gravely injured and defeated by Asta in which the rubies on his forehead broke, causing him to change his overall behavior to a much more pacific one.
Abilities[]
- Reinforcement Magic: a type of magic that allows Ladros to greatly increase his physical abilities.
- Magic Projectiles: Ladros has been seen to be able to fire projectiles of magic from his hand as well as being able to shoot beam of manas.
- Magic Dischargement and Absorption: Thanks to the him being one of the subject that had gone through his kingdom’s experiment that gave him capabilities to absorb magic and discharge them at will. Although this ability is not limitless.
- Enhanced Strength: He displayed a high amount of his own strength when threw away Domina Code with just one arm.
