~ Lally echoing Cade's words after murdering Selena. |
Lally is the titular main antagonist of "Lally's Game", the second story in the Five Nights at Freddy's anthology series Tales from The PizzaPlex.
He is a childlike animatronic from Freddy's PizzaPlex that is kept in a trunk by Cade at all times. While he initially appeared to be a friendly automaton, his dedication to Cade leads him to develop a nefarious agenda.
Appearance[]
Lally is a three/four-foot humanoid robot resembling a little boy. He has black eyes and a grey exoskeleton with a blue-rimmed white stripe down its front.
History[]
According to Cade's mother, Lally was originally a seemingly inanimate animatronic from Freddy's PizzaPlex. It was located in a blacklight arena where it would accompany lonely children as they would move the robot around the arena to play hide-and-seek with it. Cade was obsessed with the animatronic and loved playing with it on every visit to the PizzaPlex. When he expressed anger at another child, Dave, hogging the game, Lally apparently murdered him in a gruesome manner. After the arena was wrecked in a renovation accident, Lally escaped the PizzaPlex and started stalking Cade wherever he went, leading to Cade trapping him in a trunk which he kept around him throughout his life.
Several years later in the present day, Cade has gotten engaged with a woman named Selena and is moving into a ranch with her in preparation for their wedding. Selena notices the trunk being moved into the house, with Cade seemingly trying to hide it. Over the next few weeks and after her marriage, Selena learns about Cade's childhood and relationship with Lally from his mother, though is unaware that Lally is inside the trunk. Lally eventually escapes the trunk, much to Cade's horror as he starts scouring the area for his hiding spot.
Eventually, Selena starts seeing Lally following her every move and begins to grow paranoid, especially after learning of Dave's fate. When she returned home, she found an unhinged Cade telling her that Lally killed Dave, saying that "the game is only for two", like he did when Dave originally played with Lally. Selena knocked Cade out and hid inside the closet in fear, only for Lally to find and kill her, hiding her remains in the trunk before whispering to Cade that the game is only for two.
Years later, Cade has remarried to a woman named Debbie. She discovers the trunk as well, only for Cade to usher her away from it as they are watched by a figure in the shadows.
Trivia[]
- The fact that Lally is kept in a trunk that Cade wants to hide from his peers could support the theory that the infamous Box from Five Nights at Freddy's 4 contains a person or a dead body.
