The Landlord is the main antagonist from the 2018 horror film The Farm. He is the leader of the Animal Masked People and Andrew, which is the owner of the farm, where they are all working for him, in torturing humans as animals.
He was portrayed by Ken Volok.
Biography[]
The Landlord appears when he saw the two couple Nora and Alec inside of his house. Landlord becomes polite and nicely asks the couple if they are interested in ranting a cabin, which they agree. Nora thinks that the Landlord is a freak, while Alec ends up talking to the Landlord. Nora ends their talk and tells the Landlord that they want to sleep since they are very tired. Landlord then furiously slammed the door, letting them alone. Once they fall asleep, one of the animal-masked people took both of them into the farm as new "animals".
As the movie goes on, it is revealed that the Landlord is the head-master of a farm, which takes men as pigs to slaughter them and use them as meat, while the women are used as cows, to produce milk for them. Landlord then orders to get more meat, and he reviews his production rates, until the Landlord sees a woman with a baby in her hands. The Landlord takes the baby, measuring it's weight, until one of the animal-masked people took the baby and smashed the baby on the floor, causing the woman to scream and yell, in which ends up getting her killed by Andrew for disrespecting him.
Because Andrew killed the woman, the Landlord tells the animal-masked people to instantly get Andrew, which they did and Landlord furiously tells him that he killed a healthy woman which used for milk, and that he should of stayed at the gas-station and keep luring new people. Because of this, Andrew's punishment was to have a supervisor, while feeding the locked-up men.
Andrew ends up accidentally spilling out the food, which escalates in the supervisor running towards Andrew to punish it. Andrew then takes oregano, and the Landlord happily takes it, while he orders the supervisor, which is another masked animal man, to kill a woman who can not produce anymore milk, in which he does.
As Nora is trying to escape the farm, Landlord and Andrew are seen behind talking & looking at the male locked up victims. The movie ends with Nora and Ashley being cooked up as "rotten pigs" for the Masked Animal People to eat them because they tried to escape their farm.
Appearance[]
The Landlord appears to be a older man, with darker sinister eyes. The Landlord also has a characteristic face, having a crooked face.
Personality[]
When the new couple arrived, the Landlord seemed generally a nice man. He was being pleasant and polite, towards the couple, until Nora though something is fishy and asked the Landlord to leave, which made the Landlord show his aggression towards humans as she slammed the door and left them angrily. Landlord is totally different with the Animal Masked People, he is very strict, commanding and serious. He is always telling them what to do, and they have to full-fill his wishes.
Landlord appears that he used to work for a lady which passed away for a while, once she did the Landlord became the owner of everything she led. It is anonymous if the lady had anything to do with what is going on now with the farm or not. In some scenes of the film, The Landlord is seen on the phone, talking. One of the people reported the Landlord that they found a tooth inside of their food, and the Landlord told them that he will have to see that with the chefs. He also appears to be a seducer, trying to be as normal as possible to people which enter his house, to get them to rest and then use them for his evil-business.

- Though he’s the main antagonist, he doesn’t seemingly have interaction with both Nora and Alec when the duo are captured and brought to the farm. He seems to take up most of the screentime for the duration of the film.
