Lansra is a supporting antagonist in the 2017 video game Horizon Zero Dawn. She is one of the Nora Tribe's Matriarchs, along with Teersa and Jezza. Unlike the two, however, Lansra has a disparaging attitude towards Nora outcasts, and would later harshly treat Aloy as one, due to her being motherless.
Lansra is voiced by Eve Karpf.
Personality[]
Lansra's devoted belief to the Nora's religious practices, as a Nora Matriarch, would only manifest later on in her behaviour. For instance, she treats Nora outcasts as nothing more than a cardinal sin to the Nora tribe, going so far in influencing Resh with her dogma, leading to his bigotry towards outcasts.
Throughout the first game, Lansra is extremely disparaging and bigoted towards Aloy, even during her naming ritual when she was an infant, and is indirectly responsible for causing the rest of the tribe to turn against Aloy.
However, even after the genocidal attack of the Nora done by the Eclipse, the Shadow Carja cult in service of HADES, under Helis's orders, Lansra would still act defiantly and blamed her for the near-extinction of the Nora tribe, only for Aloy to call her out.
After Aloy's visit to ELEUTHIA-9 Brood 1 facility, the cradle facility where Aloy was born, Lansra somewhat mellowed out her disparaging attitude towards Aloy.
