Appearance[]
Lapin is an anthropomorphic hare with grey fur, short beard, a black military haircut bent down left ear. He wears a red coat, green shirt underneath, gray pants and brown boots.
Biography[]
Lapin was obsessed with finding the legendary treasure of the Hamster Tribe, going on his brother's expeditions in hopes of obtaining it. On one journey, he was able to obtain a Dark Hamster Statue, only for the statue to shrivel in his hands as the temple they were both in was destroyed. After barely managing to escape the temple, Lapin and his brother end up finding Chickenhare. Lapin was surprised to see Chickenhare and calls him a freak as he had never seen such a thing before, mocking the baby as he made fun of his ear.
Some time later, Lapin was arrested by his brother for trying to rule as King, and was locked up in a prison nearby on the island. During his days in his cell, he planned his revenge on his brother and studied maps to try to find the true location of the Hamster of Darkness.
During present day, Chickenhare, who was eager to go on an adventure, went to his uncles cell to ask if he would return a book about the Hamster of Darkness. His uncle toyed with him, until he dropped the book. Taken as a distraction, he then plucked one of Chickenhare's feathers and once he left, he unlocked his cell door, and released four other prisoners to recruit as henchmen. He then boards a boat and heads toward the location of the Hamster of Darkness.
As his brother inspected his cell, he saw a map of where he presumed his brother was heading and left on a ship to capture his brother. But Chickenhare, read some books in his cell and found the true location of where Lapin was heading, and tried to warn his father, but was too late. Deciding to go on his own, Chickenhare recruited Abe, a turtle aide who served under Chickenhare and his father, and they adventured into the ocean.
Hearing from Barry that Chickenhare was on his way, Lapin hired Luther to take care of the two, only to find that Luther became a father. Both Luther and another rat failed to stop Chickenhare, as a skunk known as Meg helped the two cross the Desert of Death. Hearing that Chickenhare survived both Luther and the Desert of Death, Lapin ordered his guards to destroy a bridge being held up by quicksand, assuming that it would take them weeks to cross, yet the three managed to cross the quicksand and was tasked to face another villain.
While climbing a mountain to the Hamster of Darkness, he meets the three, and plots a plan where he would fake his death and allow Chickenhare to set up all the traps so he could obtain the Hamster of Darkness. He tossed a stick of dynamite at the mountain and was crushed under a pack of snow, as Chickenhare, Abe, and Meg all kept climbing, thinking the worst was behind them.
Once at the Hamster of Darkness, Chickenhare and his friends are easily beat by Lapin and are left to freeze to death while Lapin and his army of ghostly hamsters head towards his brother's island. But Chickenhare uses his ears and gains wings, soaring through the icy caverns and escapes with his friends as they all head towards his father's island to stop Lapin.
Already taking over the island, Lapin controls his army of hamsters to kidnap his brother's army, and takes the title of the new king. But Chickenhare breaks through a glass window and steals the Hamster of Darkness and tries to use it against Lapin, only for him to remark that whoever uses the artifact first has all the power over the hamsters. This doesn't stop Chickenhare as he heads toward the only place where it could be destroyed, the training area's pit.
As Chickenhare tries to open the machinery, Lapin uses levers and orders his hamsters to kill Chickenhare, using numerous obstacles to kill the kid. But, after dropping the artifact, Barry grabs the wand and flies slowly towards Lapin. Chickenhare, at the winning area in the training area, presses the button and shoots fireworks at Barry. This caused the duck to be set on fire as he destroys the net that would secure a person from falling into the pit and gets launched back towards the castle, dropping the wand on a bridge.
After a fierce battle, the Hamster of Darkness is dropped down the pit and results in creating a destructive energy manifestation down the pit, only for the bridge him and Lapin were standing on was caught on fire. As the two dropped, Lapin punched Chickenhare down the pit, but joined his nephew when the bridge he was holding onto snapped. As the two fought down the pit, Chickenhare used his ear wings to glide up back to surface, as Lapin mentioned his actions to be impossible before being consumed the by the Hamster of Darkness's energy manifestation.
