Lardna Minch (in Japanese: Lardner Minch) is a minor antagonist in the video game EarthBound/Mother 2.
She is the oppressive matriarch of the Minch Family, being the ex-wife of Aloysius and the abusive mother of Picky and Porky. She is partly to blame for Porky's downfall into evil due to her and Aloysius's abusive parenting.
Personality[]
Lardna is an incredibly greedy shrew who like her husband will extort Ness and her family for money. While not directly abusive towards her children, she still allows her husband to abuse them, even claiming he doesn't do it enough. Given that it's implied she cheated on her husband after his downfall, she likely has no care for her family and only sees her husband as a source of wealth.
