The Laser Guided Exploding Ducks are supporting antagonists of Aardman’s 9th full-length animated feature film Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, the second installment in the Chicken Run film series.

They were former watch out robot ducks created by Dr. Fry who guard Fun Land Farms and targets at intruders.

History

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget

When the Laser Guided Exploding Ducks were guarding Fun Land Farms, one of the ducks caught Rocky red handed when he was hanging on to a large pole below the pond. However, all of the robot ducks target at Rocky causing him to explode away. While Ginger and the gang are sneaking into Fun Land Farms, while they are in their swimming attire. They are unaware that the chickens are underwater as they are dumbfounded by just looking upwards.

At the climax of the film after Melisha Tweedy gets knocked in the pond by Fowler all of them corner her and is about to target towards her, Dr. Fry quickly reminds his wife Melisha to watch out for The Laser Guided Exploding Ducks, until they all launch at her while the processor dangerous overheats in the factory making the whole building destroy in destruction at the latter when one of the ducks's heads pop off and land of the road from the destruction. Back at the Chicken Sanctuary, Mac has revealed to bring one of the robot ducks and fixes them to use it for an invention to make popcorn

Trivia

• After the destruction of Fun Land Farms, it could be implied Mac found the whole body parts of The Laser Guided Exploding Ducks to bring it to the sanctuary and fix it so the chickens can use it for their armor.
• It may be possible that that Laser Guided Exploding Ducks may have not been made for command by Melisha Tweedy and Dr. Fry as they all turned against Melisha once she fell into the pond and thought she was an intruder.
• They’re probably based inspired by Mr. Bonzo and Fido.
