Laserbeak is a supporting antagonist that appears in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the third installment of the original continuity of the Transformers live-action film series. Laserbeak is one of Soundwave's minions and Megatron's assassin.
Laserbeak is sent by Megatron and Soundwave to eliminate most of the Human Collaborators. Laserbeak also serves as Dylan Gould's bodyguard and one of Sam Witwicky's enemies.
He was voiced by Keith Szarabajka.
Personality[]
Laserbeak is a cunning and merciless Decepticon, often not showing any remorse in killing the people he is tasked to kill. He is excellent in deceit, as he is able to trick the NASA engineer's daughter by transforming into a pink Bumblebee. He is very smart and is able to plan out his attacks.
History[]
Laserbeak first appears in Africa where he kills a bird and lands on Soundwave's arm. Laserbeak informs Megatron that Autobots have taken the base and discovered the Cargo. He was sent out by Megatron to kill those who had hidden the Ark from public sight after they had "served their purpose". His victim list was Alexi Voshikod, Jerry Wang, and a NASA engineer, and possibly other humans off-screen.
Later, Laserbeak arrives in the States to kill a NASA engineer and finds his daughter outside swinging. Laserbeak turns into a pink Bumblebee and He asks her if her father is home and she takes him to her room, but when the girl's mother shows up, Laserbeak turns into his true dark form, flies downstairs and kills the girl's father.
He is Dylan Gould's bodyguard as well, since Soundwave obeys Dylan Gould. Jerry Wang was perhaps the bravest human to confront Laserbeak, as he was pointing two guns at Laserbeak yelling, "Aw ####! Huh? Who wants some chicken dinner now, #####? Cause somebody messed with the wrong Wang today!" Near the film's climax, upon arriving to Chicago Sam Witwicky threatened Dylan with a gun, asking about Carly Spencer's whereabouts. Laserbeak then ambushed Sam, before tossing him out from the balcony, however it was revealed that Bumblebee hijacked one of the Decepticons' jet ships, and with Sam onboard it, opened fire on Dylan and his associates in the tower. Noticing Carly's escape, Laserbeak flew down onto Sam in an attempt to kill him, but the latter grabbed his head and held it in place long enough for Bumblebee to blast it off, killing the decepticon assassin.
