Lashina (DC Animated Universe)

Lashina is a supporting antagonist in the DC Animated Universe. She acts as the field leader of the Female Furies, armed with a whip that emits electricity. She also had a brief romantic relationship with Superman while under Darkseid's control.

She was voiced by Diane Michelle, who also voiced Candice in Batman: The Animated Series.

Biography[]

Superman: The Animated Series[]

Lashina and her allies Stompa and Mad Harriet were summoned to Earth by Granny Goodness, arriving through a boom tube to fight Supergirl. She quickly subdued Kara with help from her sisters and managed to capture Superman in the process. On Apokolips, Lashina had a final battle with Supergirl before she and Superman escape. After Darkseid's plan to destroy Earth was foiled by the two heroes, Lashina along with her fellow Furies immediately attacked Granny for her failure on Darkseid's order.

At one point, Lashina became Superman's lover after he was brainwashed by Granny and put under Darkseid's control. When Superman broke free of his brainwashing, he returned to Apokolips and battled the Female Furies. Superman beat Lashina and her cohorts by smashing into a fiery pillar, leaving the Furies to fall one after another.

Justice League Unlimited[]

Years after Darkseid's death, Lashina and the other Furies sided with Granny Goodness during the Civil War on Apokolips against Virman Vundabar's forces until Darkseid returns bringing the conflict to an abrupt end.
