The Lava Mole is the secondary antagonist of the 2014 Nickelodeon comedy animated series Breadwinners.
He is a mole who lives underground of The Bread Mines that dislikes bread. He is also the arch-enemy of The Bread Maker.

During his life as a child, Lava Mole bullied The Bread Maker and ate half of his teddy bread. Upset, The young bread maker stood up by punching Lava Mole, making the little mole upset.
After childhood, he and The Bread Maker have started going into wrestling fights ever since then to that day.
Breadwinners[]
He first appeared in “Mine All Mine”, after SwaySway and Buheuce accidentally threw their magic toaster into the lava river which the duo went fast quickly to get back. As they try to retrieve it back, a mole named Lava Mole takes it away while gloating as SwaySway informs him that the toaster he has belong them, in which he asked if they want in back in he responds by harshly pushes them through a pile of bread while Ridley saying that they can't have it back because while selfishly claiming it as his own. SwaySway asks on why he wants to steal their toaster, he explains to the duo that he has live in the cave-mines his whole life and is sick of eating bread, in which he say that he can finally eat something completely different, Toast.
While he is distracted, SwaySway and Buhdeuce take their toaster whoek trying to escape. Realizing that it's gone, Lava Mole hoes after, as the two try to summon and calm The Bread Maker for help. As he comes closer and closer, SwaySway and Buhdrufe then give it back before he throws it out of the way as he grabs them in an attempt to throw them into the lava. However, Bread Maker encounters buknas they fight in which ends with him being knocked to the ground. However, Lava Mole still refuses defeat as he angrily wants the Magic toaster though Bread Maker gives him a giant toast which Lava Mole happily accepts.
In “Introducktions”, SwaySway and Buhdeuce take T-Midi to the Bread Mines to meet The Bread Maker in which they through to the tunnel. However, T-Midi accidentally throws his mine-hat in which wakes up Lava Mole from his sleep as he chokes it up, realizing that it was the duo as he vowed to chase them only to fall down into the lava. chases after SwatSwat and Buhdeuce. Just as SwaySway and Buhdeuce enter his Mancave lair, they realized that The Bread Maker is on fishing, which had the duo try to distract T-Midi though its foiled due to Buhdeuce eating the bread which dissatisfied. Just as Buhdeuce attempted to leave, Lava Mole. As he comes in, T-Midi still thinks that it was still trying to knock him down to no avail which does the same to SwaySway and Buhdeuce just as Bread Maker. He tells him that the conflict is between him and the ducks, trying to tell him to stay out of the problem, in which in response attempts to kill him in a duel which ends up with him being knocked out and turned into a bread mole as he leaves.
In “Night of The Living Bread”, He visits The Bread Maker from his mancave in which he asks if he wants to wrestle with him. The Bread Maker responds to him saying that he can’t since his is in the middle of baking bread with Lava Mole flirting while teasing him in which the latter told him that it is a magical art, Lava Mole then continues asking him what kind I bread he’s making before Bread Maker starts to wrestle him. When Bread Maker tells him he can just take down the zombies, he quickly leaves telling thendormer that he doesn't do zombies.
In “Raging Mole”, Lava Moles tells The Bread Maker that he has been excercising while gloating that he will win only to be once again defeated by Bresd Maker as he sadly sobs in defeat. When SwaySway and Buhdeuce noticed him sobbing, he explained to the duo that moles and monsters make fun of him because he always loses tò the bread maker including his ex girlfriend Debbie breaking up with him if the result.
After the duo explained to The Bread Maker about how he keeps humiliating Lava Mole, Bread Maker tells them that he brought it on himself and has been one since they were born. SwaySway and Buhdeuce ask if he could maybe let him win just once in which he went against at first until he heard him sobbing.
While a sobered Lava Mole is crying alone, Bread Maker challenges him to a duel in which the former refuses knowing that he would humiliate him with Bread Maker attempting to leave once he refuses. SwaySway and Buhdeuce mock Lava Mole while teasing that he wouldn’t beat him with his hands behind his back tied.
Refusing to be mocked, Lava Mole ordered the duo to tie him up in which he knocks him out by whipping his tail, throwing a bag of lava in his chest, and using his snout to slam him, in which he reveals to the bread maker that he has used evil mole magic to build an unbreakable bread box in case he ever defeated him as he throws him in the box while locking the key as he swallows it in his mouth.
This finally has him being idolized for taking down lava mole with the moles and monsters chanting him as Debbie comes to him in which they. The duo demanded Lava Mole to let the Bread Maker go but he refuses while telling the duo that they now work for him while announcing to his friends that there taking over the mancave.
While taking over the mancave, Lava Mole forces SwaySway and Buhdeuxe to give him Spitcake while threatening to beat them up if they don’t do what he says. Having had enough of his rudeness, SwaySway throws a bit of SpitCake to him while challenging Lava Mole in a wrestling match in the rings.
SwaySway and Buhdeuce disguise themselves as wrestlers in an attempt to stop and defeat Lava Mole however the duo easily get defeated as Lava Moles tries to drop them off to their deaths in lava before a giant Bread Maker rescues them. Refusing to back down before using a bottle of lava juice which made him grow bigger while battling Bread Maker as he gets defeated by him.
Bread Maker then threatens while asking on who wants to challenge him, in which the rest of the moles and monsters leave (excluding Debbie) while Debbie breaks up with Lava Mole again feeling disappointed that he loss, while the latter sadly begs her to come back whole crying sob.
Bread Maker tries to make peace with Lava Mole in which the latter then felt delighted but ends up trying to bite his own arm before being flinched.
It is unknown on what became of Lava Mole afterwards as he doesn’t return for a second season.
Trivia[]
- It is implied that he has murdered people before having met SwaySway and Buhdeuce. As it is shown when Lava Mole threw away the magic toaster, there are skeletons of them.
- It was revealed in “Raging Mole” that he has been losing fights against the Bread Maker ever since they were children.
- He owns an unbreakable bread box in which he built presumably either before the events of the series or after the events of “Mine All Mine”.
- In “Night of the Living Bread", it is implied that he is afraid of zombies as shown after he wussed out after Bread Maker told him that he can fight the zombies.
- Despite serving as the secondary antagonist in Season 1, he never returned in Season 2 unlike The Bread Maker. However his ancestors made an appearance.
