The Lawn Gnomes are major antagonists in Sony Pictures Animation's eleventh feature film Goosebumps, which is based on the book series of the same name. They look more like actual lawn gnomes in the movie, down to their small size. They do not have a lot of dialogue, there are a total of 600 gnomes in the movie.

After Slappy steals the manuscripts from Stine and the others, he unlocks the “ Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes “ book it releases the gnomes as they sneak into the house and lock all doors to trap the people in. The lawn gnomes spy on them underneath the stairs until the four reach the kitchen seeing them all over the place (seemingly being 50 or 60 of 600 of them). Zach assumes they’re friendly but they throw a knife at him and it hits the cabinet, Zach then reconsiders his idea as a red and blue colored gnome in the front breaks his eyebrows into an angry look. They start attacking the group in attempt to kill them, but fail to as the 60 gnomes all get shattered or melted in the process. But as soon as the four are in relief, the gnomes regenerate and they begin to chase them through the basement dying from the bear traps and regenerating. Stine, Zach, Champ, and Hannah escape the house before the gnomes try to pull the door, getting their hands smashed into the frame. The fate of these 60 gnomes are unknown either joining the 540 others or stuck inside the house.
Slappy and his friends the monsters arrive at the institute[]
The rest of the gnomes seemed to have been riding on The Haunted Car with Slappy and releasing books to the town to cause havoc, later meeting up at the institute to get rid of Stine. These 540 gnomes passed books to make a circle of manuscripts to release the monsters, once all of them were now outside the books, (not including The Blob) they were lit on fire. They are seen marching to the school as some get kicked from the Abominable Snowman’s feet.
The gnomes and their friends the monsters returned to the book again[]
All (at what seems to be) 600 gnomes along with the other monsters try to get the trio on the Ferris Wheel but fails to as The Giant Praying Mantis breaks the hinges of the Ferris Wheel making it roll away into the entrance of the park. While Hannah releases the book while it’s opened, the gnomes still with glee, laugh to their demise and the other monster’s as well.
