Lawrence Sparks (also known as: The Brit) is a supporting antagonist in the 2010 action film The Expendables. He was the fourth henchman of James Munroe and assisted him in his plan.
He was portrayed by actor Gary Daniels, who also played Bryan Fury in the 2010 Tekken film.
Biography[]
Lawrence is from the United Kingdom which is where he got his nickname from. Not much is known about his backstory other than at some point he came to be the personal guard of CIA Officer James Munroe. Sparks would assist Munroe in his plans blackmailing Garza into helping them with their plans. Around this time, Munroe and his men are approached by Gunner Jensen, a former Expendable who was dismissed from the group for his unstable behaviour. Jensen and Sparks get into a standoff, and Munroe is impressed with Jensen's skill so he agrees to pay him $100,000 upfront for helping them track down and assassinate the rest of the Expendables.
Lawerence would also assist in the torture of Sandra for information on the Expendables. Sparks meets his demise when he battles Yin Yang, Sparks grabs an AK and fires at Yin Yang until he is killed when Christmas holds him down while Yang fatally snapped his neck.
