He was portrayed by and based on real life radio host, Lazlow Jones.
Biography[]
3D Universe[]
Lazlow started his career in the early 1980s, where he worked as an intern at V-Rock in Reddick, Florida. Between 1984 and 1986, he moved to Vice City. Around 1984, he worked as the sidekick to DJ, Couzin Ed. Two years later, Lazlow became the head DJ for V-Rock, where he became more vain and egotistical due to his success. Between 1986 and 1992, he was fired from V-Rock, most likely due to his lewd behavior and/or because of his ego. Eventually, Lazlow found work at the talk show, Entertaining America, based in Los Santos, San Andreas in 1992, where he replaced Billy Dexter, the first host, who was killed accidentally by Jack Howitzer. By that time, Lazlow became extremely confused with the new trends, which is seen when he interacts with OG Loc and Big Smoke on an interview. Eventually in 1998, Lazlow once again lost his job on Entertaining America due to his alcoholism and his drug abuse. He then moved to Liberty City where he hosted his new project titled Chatterbox and eventually, in 2001, he collaborated with Donald Love, who overtook Lazlow's operation of LCFR.
HD Universe[]
Lazlow Jones was born in 1962 somewhere in the Midwest, where he began working in radio as a teenager. Similarly to the 3D Universe, he worked in radio in the 1980s, starting in Vice City then in Los Santos and finally in Liberty City. However, the main difference between Lazlow in the 3D and HD Universe is that in the 3D Universe, he is seen as the only sane man with an enormously cocky attitude, while in the HD Universe, he is presented more as a washed-up and pathetic celebrity. While in Vice City, he had an affair with a female intern, which led to his wife leaving him for his best friend. This crushed Lazlow, as he began stalking her. This event is most likely why Lazlow's career sank, as after this, he was charged with numerous crimes, most of them being related to Lazlow's perversion. It is also revealed that Lazlow has a poor relationship with his stepfather, calling him a "c-ckface" on radio. By 2013, Lazlow returned to Los Santos, working with WCTR, where he also started working as a presenter on the TV show, Fame or Shame. At some point while working on Fame or Shame, Lazlow was chased down by career criminals, Michael De Santa and Trevor Philips, after he started to inappropriately touch Michael's daughter, Tracey, who was showing off her talent on the show. However, Lazlow was spared, which didn't leave a mark on Lazlow as he started to talk to Tracey after her mother, Amanda left Michael. This didn't last long as Michael proceeded to torture him because of his actions. Five years later, Lazlow begs to work as a DJ at one of Tony Prince's nightclubs, but is rejected. After this, Lazlow begins to invite celebrities to the club, with his actions being shown due to the popularity of the club.
Villainous Acts[]
At first, Lazlow may seem to be just a somewhat perverted man, but in actually, has various horrible traits, that he has no goals in getting rid off.
- He is hinted to be a ephebophile, due to his attraction to young girls, such as Tracey De Santa, who is only 22 in 2013, while he was 51 in that year.
- Despite being warned to not go near Tracey by Michael, who nearly kills him, he still pursues her and attempts to have sex with her.
- He is extremely perverted as he has numerous allegations against him, along with him being arrested several times for crimes such as, stalking (on his ex-wife), public urination, public lewdness, indecent exposure of himself towards a person, and even forcible touching. He also admits to having an addiction to public masturbation, claiming to "Jack it in traffic".
