The Leader Dr. Scum A.I. Buddy is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Dr. Scum) of the twelfth book in Dav Pilkey’s Dog Man book series, The Scarlet Shedder, a spin-off to the Captain Underpants franchise.
He is an A.I. Buddy that resembles Dr. Scum. He was used to go to jail in his place.

Although he never appeared in Dog Man: For Whom the Ball Rolls, it is known that when Dr. Arrested, Scum happens to be walking past Robo-Time Industries (his factory), so he tells a cop he had to use the bathroom and inside the factory he turns on his latest invention, Dr. Scum A.I. Friend. He sent it out and it went to jail for him.

A.I. Buddy was sent to Dude Jail where he is a misfit there. Soon the bully was beating him hard for no reason. But he had artificial intelligence, so his brain was getting smarter every day. So, he created shadow puppet bunnies and made the prison love bunnies. He then told half of the Dude Jail inmates that the Pink Bunnies were the best and told the other half that the Purple Bunnies were the best. Soon the prison was consumed by hatred.
The Scarlet Shedder[]
He was the first to greet A.I. Dog Man Robot in Dude Jail when it came. He explained what had happened since he came to the prison and that he needed his help to escape from Dude Jail. Later, the two sprays painted a purple and pink bunny on the pole holding the Dude Jail. When the prisoners saw them, they immediately destroyed them with weapons used only in case of emergency. This caused the support pillar to break and destroy the Dude Jail. Then two A.I. The friends came to the top of the hill and gave a speech for the other A.I. Friends.
As he said the speech, the second A.I. The friends teamed up to create one giant robot from a smaller A.I. Friends. Soon, all of the new Supa Buddies (The Scarlet Shedder, The Firecracker Kid, Ninja Shark, and Mecha-Molly) tried to stop the giant robot but were unsuccessful. Soon Dr. Scum A.I. Buddie dressed up as Sarah Hatoff and pretended to be kidnapped by a robot. The vulture friends quickly went to him and clamped one of their hands on the giant robot. A green force field appeared inside and caused the Supa Buddies to lose their powers. The robot then revealed itself as Dr. Scum A.I. Friend.
Meanwhile, Petey the Cat was hard at work creating an A.I. Buddies and then had a dream about him and his mother moving into the Happy Home Shelter in Bedford Falls and meeting their strange neighbor, Little Jim. He tells them a quote his mother made before she died:

When Petey woke up, he boarded the plane Dr. Scum, drove into the nose of a giant robot and shut it down. This caused the force field to shut down and Mecha-Molly used a chainsaw to escape the robot's grasp. Then Firecracker Kid uses his lightning mitts to destroy Dr. Scum A.I. Buddy.
