Legia is a minor antagonist of the dark fantasy Korean manhwa and light novel series Solo Leveling. He was the King of Giants and Monarch of Beginning.
Personality[]
Reacting to having been located by another Monarch, Legia's peculiar sense of humor caused him to burst into maniacally laughing. Legia has also displayed some intelligence and manipulation, when he barelly succeeded in convincing Jin-Woo to into setting releasing him from his confinement.
Biography[]
The Rulers imprisons Legia after managing to detain him among the other Monarch after discovering the corpse of the Absolute Being with the help of weapons that came from his power. He was then held captive using chains that had the ability to absorb his mana, that is often associated with magical energy. He was also plugged with an essen stone by the Rulers into the back of his neck, resulting him in having d a profound effect on Legia, as it instilled in him a voracious hostility toward humans in order to infuse the human world with mana.
Subsequently, after a course of many months later, Jinwoo eventually entered a gate that leads him to an S-Rank dungeon located in Tokyo of Japan. A maniac laugh is heard as he arrives. Legia welcomes Jinwoo after commenting how hilarious the detestable Rulers are. He begs for Jinwoo to free him, states that he is aware of what the Rulers are planning for, and that he must inform the other Monarch about this. Jinwoo interrogates him if those Rulers were the on restraining him. Legia replies that they are trying to use him for an upcoming battle before stating that he is a Monarch just like him. He tries to convince Jinwoo to free him by stating that he needs assistance to face the Rulers and Monarch.
Jinwoo denies by stating how a a monster intends to help him, a human. As a response, Legia starts a rumbling in the place that alerts Jinwoo and causes him to receive a quest, in which he accepts. Requesting again the hunter to free him, Jinwoo tries to agree by saying that he completely trust him but is cut mid way in his sentence. Legia informs him that the quest's curse he accepted stops him from saying lies. Afterwards, he repeadly asks if he could fight alongside him but won't be able to be turned into one of his shadow soldiers.
Eventually, as Jinwoo approaches the Monarch, he spots the stone located on his neck. The Monarch, in response to Jinwoo knowing that he can hear the voice of the Rulers, tries to grab Jinwoo who dodges it before stabbing him in the chest. Denying that he is not a calamity but Jinwoo is, they engage in a short fight. Stating how the Earth will turn to a hellish battlefield and hopes for everything around him to burn into ash, Jinwoo is swiftly decapitates the Monarch, denying his words.
