Biography[]
Flashman[]
Leh Wanda was a winged swordsman with zebra-like stripes full of pride and over confidence. He believes himself to be a superior being and is driven by his rage and anger in combat, particularly with a long-running rivalry with Flashman leader Jin. Wanda uses various strategies, from direct attacks to using Beast Warrior manipulations, to try and take Jin and the Flashman down.
Leh Wanda was one of the Mess members created by Lie Köpflen from splicing the DNA of various alien organisms.
When Mess came to Earth looking to invade it, Leh Wanda led the forces of Mess in an advance attack, only to be met by the Flashmen, who foiled their plans and schemes multiple times.
Throughout the season, Leh Wanda and other Mess generals tried and used multiple schemes and tactics to defeat and destroy the Flashmen by using multiple bio-engineered monsters and Beast Warriors. However, the heroes frequently foiled their plans and left the villains with nothing. It was rare that Mess Empire succeeded with any of their plans.
During an early battle, Wanda took to the battlefield believing that he had gained a special "super-power" that made him unstoppable to the Flashman. However, it is during this that he discovers the super-power was tied to the five ordinary creatures that created him having a resonance in power for that single day, disgusting him in his nature being more ordinary than he realized.
After Lah Deus began punishing his minions for their continued failures of Mess to defeat the Flashmen and tried to force Köpflen to stop using his bestial generals, the scientist decides to improve them to make them remain relevant, Leh Wanda allowed himself to be enhanced and upgraded by Lie Kopflen following the death of Leh Galus. Kopflen's genetic enhancements gave Leh Wanda the ability to assume a Beast Warrior form called "The Wandarla". In his new form, Wanda possessed a powerful "Time Stop" ability and was capable of stopping time for three seconds. Wanda became obsessed in using his Time Stop whenever possible in combat from then on.
As Mess moved forwards to the final stage of Deus Beast Warriors, Wanda chose to prove himself one last time in order to prevent Lah Deus from taking his rage out on Köpflen for constant failures. Leh Wanda later had his genes combined with the Deus genetics supplied by Lah Deus to create the Deus Beast Warrior The Wandal. After the Deus Beast Warrior's creation, Leh Wanda took to the field alongside it to fight the Flashmen. By using The Wandal to enhance his Time Stop, Leh Wanda was able to freeze the Flashmen for an extended period of time. However, the Flashmen were freed by Dr. Tokimura using his time machine to cancel out his time stop, leading Leh Wanda to face Red Flash in a final one-on-one duel.
Fatally wounded, Leh Wanda charged at Red Flash to deliver a final slash, only to collapse from exhaustion and die before he could deliver the final blow.
Turboranger clipshow[]
Leh Wanda appeared in the clips from Choushinsei Flashman seen in the first episode of Kousoku Sentai Turboranger.
Personality[]
Leh Wanda was a ruthless, sadistic, violent, remorseless and most of all thrill-seeking general of the Mess Empire who was obsessed with fighting and antagonizing the Flashmen and trying to destroy them. He was highly ruthless, cold, brutal and enjoyed causing havoc and chaos in Tokyo. Overall, Wanda had in common the same traits of other Mess generals, being a power-hungry, darwinistic and most of all xenophobic alien warrior who was obsessed with the supremacy of the Mess Empire over all other species and desired to help their master Lah Deus with the conquering of the entire universe and destroying the Flashmen. Initially, during his earlier years of serving Lah Deus and Lie Köpflen, Wanda was a prideful, happy and self-loving general who was a high-ranking servant of Lah Deus and Lie Köpflen. The evil alien emperor and his right-hand man were proud of Wanda and constantly praised and congratulated him for serving them and helping them in their conquest of multiple planets across the universe. However, after Wanda's multiple defeats to the Flashmen, Lah Deus became wrathful and enraged with Leh Wanda's failures and started constantly abusing and humiliating Wanda, calling him a failure.
And so from this time, Wanda lost the Great Emperor's favoritism and desired to return his success by developing a new plans of outsmarting and destroying the Flashmen in order to return his rightful place as the top general of the Mess Empire. Wanda was quite intelligent, calculating and strategic and possessed a great strategic instinct and foresight, which allowed him to predict the plans of the Flashmen and develop a great tactics of achieving his goals. Even though, despite his sly, calculating and intelligent nature, Wanda proved to be highly arrogant and confident and all of this were his traits and weaknesses, which led to the failure of most of his plans. However, beside his confidence and overestimating his own powers, Wanda's another primary weakness was also his underestimating of his enemies's powers and skills.
Overall, Wanda has no true redeeming qualities. While he was still far from evil and tyrannical as his master Emperor Lah Deus, but he lacked any genuine honor and respect to his enemies. Even though he viewed Jin as a powerful opponent and considered defeating him wluld bring Wanda a great prize and respect of his master and comrades, but his hatred to Jin was merely an annoyance of his defeats, rather than genuine respect.
As Wandaria, he was modified by Lah Deus and Köpflen and became more ruthless, barbaric, destructive and far more determined to destroy the Flashmen with far more cunning well-developed schemes and tactics.
