Biography[]
Season 1[]
In the Season 1 episode "Veterans", white supremacist criminal Boyd Crowder visits Briggs, hoping to buy military grade weapons to destroy his father's supply of meth. He bribes Briggs, who sells him a rocket launcher that he later uses to destroy the shipment.
Season 3[]
Despite initially appearing to be a one-shot character, Briggs later appears in the Season 3 episode "Loose Ends", when it's revealed that Tanner Dodd bought explosives from him in order to fake an assassination attempt on Tillman Napier by Boyd so that Napier and Nick Mooney can discredit Napier's rival Shelby Parlow, who Boyd is backing. After Napier refuses to pay him, Dodd and his associate Errol Butler go to Briggs' house to extort money from him. However, Briggs gains the upper hand by activating a landmine underneath Dodd, leaving him trapped, as the mine will go off if it detects a change in weight. Briggs convinces Dodd to put down his gun in return for deactivating the mine, but is shot and killed by Errol before Dodd can do so. Errol then reveals that he's going to leave Dodd to be killed by the mine to cover the tracks of his boss Ellstin Limehouse, so he killed Briggs to prevent him from deactivating the mine. Briggs' body is later removed from the scene when the marshals come round in an unsuccessful attempt to save Dodd.
Trivia[]
Lemuel's last name was originally Becket, however, it was for unknown reasons changed to Briggs in season 3.
