Lenny Burrano is a minor antagonist in Oz.

Biography[]

Season 1[]

Buranno is first seen when he is assigned the task of investigating Dino Ortolani's murder. It is revealed that he is connected to the Italian mob and intimidates Ryan O'Reily into telling Nino Schibetta about Jefferson Keane's involvement with Dino's death.

When Donald Groves kills officer Lawrence Smith, several guards attack random inmates, which is condoned by Burrano leading to an argument With Tim McManus who pushed for the guards to be reprimanded.

Season 2[]

When Nino's son, Peter, comes to Oz, Burrano passes along information between him and "the family". After Peter is poisoned by Simon Adebisi, Burrano tells him the family are disappointed and will revoke him of leadership of he does not kill Adebisi. Peter then tries to kill Adebisi but is merely raped by him instead.

Antonio Nappa comes to Oz and is now in charge of the Italians. On Nappa's orders, Burrano convinced Warden Glynn to have a random drug test in order to get Glynn into trouble. By taking his drugs from him, the Italians are able to drive Adebisi crazy  nd successfully frame him for murder getting him sent to the psych ward. This is the last time Burrano is seen in the series.
