Leo Balmudo is the main antagonist of the classic musical Grease. He is the leader of The Scorpions, the rivals of T-Birds and a constant bully and reckless driver.
He was portrayed by the late Dennis Cleveland Stewart.
Leo is first introduced driving along with his gang The Scorpions while starring angry at the T-Birds. In his next appearance, he drives on Kenickie's car, interrupting Kenickie and Rizzo's make-out session. When Kenickie calls Leo a "crater-face", he backs his car on Kenickie's once more, damaging it. He harasses Kenickie and Rizzo, saying that he will only pay 75 cents for the car damage including Rizzo and then drives away. Later, Leo and The Scorpions are seen nearly running over some student and their books.
For the National Dance-Off prom, Leo drives by and picks up Rizzo and Marty and becomes their date for the prom. At the prom, he becomes enraged when he sees his girlfriend Cha-Cha dance with Kenickie and eventually briefly fights him.
At the Thunder Road, Leo and Kenickie is planning a race with their cars. When Kenickie accidently gets knocked down by the door when Putzie opens it, Leo and his gang laughs at him. However, Danny offers himself to replace Kenickie to race against Leo. During the race, Leo tries to cheat and provoke Danny and the T-Birds by damaging their newely styled car with spinning blades attached to his car's wheels. However, Leo gets stuck in a water puddle and looses the race.
