~ Teal's final words before his death |
Leo Teal is a minor antagonist in the 2002 video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, serving as the main antagonist of the mission "Back Alley Brawl" and the overarching antagonist of Mr. Black's missions.
History[]
In 1986, Leo Teal began his career as a a restaurant chef in Ocean Beach, Vice City. During the same time, he was a hitman for Mr. Black who was an anonymous criminal. The VCPD (Vice City Police Department) assumed that Leo was involved in the narcotics business. However, they were unable to obtain any information about him due to his expertise in communication.
At some point later in 1986, Leo was hired by local drug baron Ricardo Diaz. Leo's first assignment was to ambush a drug exchange which was scheduled to take place at Vice City's harbor. He was accompanied by two other hitmen. When the drug trade took place, they managed to kill most of the people on the receiving end. They also managed to obtain the money and drugs that were exchanged. However, Tommy Vercetti, Ken Rosenburg and Lance Vance escaped.
A few days later, Tommy obtained more information about the ambushed drug trade. With help from a man named Kent Paul, Tommy discovered Leo's involvement. He went to an alley behind the restaurant where Leo worked. He found Leo who was using a portable phone to speak with Mr. Black. Leo attempted to fight Tommy but was ultimately killed, only to be found by Lance, and the two decide to ally themselves.
As Tommy still has Leo's phone, he also begins taking on jobs from Mr. Black, as well as Cuban leader Umberto Robina.
