~ Leo as he destroys a desert oasis. |
Leonard "Leo" Wong is a supporting character in the 1999 adult animated Sci-fi comedy TV series Futurama, as well as one of the two main antagonists (alongside the Dark One) of the 2009 Futurama movie Into the Wild Green Yonder.
Between seasons 1 and 7, he is voiced by Billy West, who also voiced Zapp Brannigan, Richard Nixon, and Professtro in the same series, as well as Ren Höek in Ren & Stimpy. From season 8 onward, he is voiced by Feodor Chin, who also voiced Xu Wenwu in Marvel's What if...?
Together with his wife he owns the Wong Ranch and the entire western hemisphere of Mars, as well as meddling in Amy's love-life with his wife. He is completely blunt and has very few social skills, he always speaks his mind which always enrages people he doesn't buy off. He teases Amy about being fat. He also makes jokes about how she was fat when she was younger which pressured her into losing weight. He couldn't care less about the environment and possibly endangered species. Wong planned to bulldoze 12% of the milky way for his golf course without any regard to any life he may destroy to do it. It is thanks to him that some parts of Saturn's rings are missing. When he hires Fry as his security guard he starts to give him more affection than Amy, making her believe that he didn't want a daughter and indeed wanted a son.
