Leon Olfa is one of the major antagonists of the Japanese Light Novel series, Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire. He is the older brother and archenemy of his sister who is the series' tritagonist, Leone Olfa.
He was voiced by Yuichi Nakamura in Japanese.
Overview[]
Leon Olfa is a former Holy Knight who was their pride and the former partner of Eris (who is a Hyrule Menace). However, he is revealed to be a spy for the Steelblood Front (who are the anti-Highland guerilla organization). He betrayed his fellow Knights by assaulting Rahal and poisoning him with prism powder, causing the Highlander to turn into a magical beast due to Rahal's immense arrogance. He briefly fought against both his former partner Eris and Inglis Eucus (the series' main protagonist) after he failed to convince them to join the Steelblood Front only to be easily overpowered by Inglis. However, Leon's plan of turning Rahal into a monster is complete and he retreated.
Leon has a younger sister named Leone Olfa (the series' tritagonist who eventually became Leon's archenemy). His betrayal towards the Holy Knights has led his parents to their deaths and almost all of his former fellow knights to treat his younger sister as an outcast (except for Rafael and Ripple who are the only exceptions), causing Leone to abandon her love for Leon, developing a strong disdain and hatred towards her brother for his betrayal where both their parents were killed and their homeland is destroyed. She joined the Royal Knight Academy, aspiring to become a Holy Knight solely to arrest Leon and put him behind bars for her brother's betrayal and their parents' deaths.
Later on, Leon has reunited with Leone (who is patrolling with Liselotte Arcia). He tries to reason his sister (who is attacking him for his betrayal) when told he and his fellow Steelblood Front didn't came to fight them but to informed them that Ripple will be take away within 4 days by the Highlander Archlord.
Appearance[]
Leon is a tall young man with a dark purple hair (dark blue hair in the light novel) and eyes. When he was a holy knight, he wore a white shirt, black pants, brown boots and a blue cape which is what male Holy Knight wore.
When he joined the Steelblood Front, Leon wore a black outfit and hood cloak.
Personality[]
Leon is an affable person. However, he is also treacherous, arrogant and prideful, which's shown when he betrayed his fellow knights, causing them to dub him as a traitor.
He holds bitter hatred towards the Highlanders, demonstrating it by attempting to end their rule by poisoning them with prism powder and transforming them into monsters. He flipped Rahal off for his arrogance.
Despite this, Leon is somewhat honorable when he offered both Eris (his former partner) and Inglis to join the Steelblood Front only for them to reject this offer. He does genuinely care for his little sister, Leone, though he is aware that his sister strongly hates him due to the pain and cruelty that she endured and will never forgive him for his betrayal towards the Holy Knights, causing them to treat his sister as an outcast where Leon has ruined Leone's life as well both his parents died for his betrayal. Leon refused to fight Leone when he kept dodged and blocked his sister's sword attacks although he acknowledged of his little sister's skills to be improved.
