The Leopard Seal is the secondary antagonist of The Pebble and the Penguin.
Biography[]
The leopard seal first appears after Drake throws Hubie into the water. In the water, the leopard seal appears and tries to eat Hubie. The leopard seal snaps at him but catches a block of ice stuck in its jaws. Hubie narrowly escapes the leopard seal and climbs on to a piece of ice where he is swept away from Antarctica by sailors who want to sell him and other penguins to a zoo.
It is later seen again sleeping when Hubie & Rocko jump into a fishing hole and swim deep down under the ice to go fishing for food. They encounter the large seal and accidentally wake it up from its sleep. It slowly follows the two while they were chasing fish, until they notice it after the fish panicked in fright when it appeared. The Leopard Seal chases Hubie and Rocko until it catches Hubie in his jaws. Rocko swims back into the beast's jaws to rescue Hubie and yells in its mouth causing it to painfully open its jaws. After shaking and clearing its head from the yelling echo, the leopard seal swiftly chases Hubie and Rocko up to the surface but fails to catch them.
The leopard seal makes one final appearance jumps on the large submarine. It gets kicked in the nose by Rocko and gets kicked again in the nose even harder by Hubie which causes the leopard seal to fall into the water and is never seen again after that.
