Levi Simon is a supporting antagonist in the 2018 video game Red Dead Redemption II. serving as the secondary antagonist of the Guarma Chapter. He is Alberto Fussar's right-hand man.
He is voiced by Jeffrey Gurner, who also voiced Jack Lupino in Max Payne.
Biography[]
Levi is the right-hand man of Alberto Fussar, dictator of the island of Guarma. He is the overseer of Guarma's slave-staffed sugar plantations, in which Leviticus Cornwall has a stake. He is also in charge of the island's police and leads the crackdown on the slave uprising.
Five members of the Van der Linde gang - Dutch van der Linde, Arthur Morgan, Micah Bell, Javier Escuella and Bill Williamson - are washed up on Guarma in a storm while attempting to flee the United States. Soon after their arrival they are arrested by a group of soldiers lead by Simon. The gang give false names and Dutch attempts to negotiate their release, but Levi tells them they cannot be released until they verify their identity. Eventually Levi rides off, ordering his men to shoot the prisoners if they cause any trouble. However, the rebels ambush them and free all the prisoners except Javier.
When Dutch and Arthur infiltrate Aguasdulces plantation to rescue Javier, Levi is seen with Fussar and several guards interrogating Javier for the identity of the rest of the gang. Javier is dragged along behind a mule until Fussar orders it to stop, at which point Simon beats him and demands to know the identity of the other men. Dutch and Arthur set the sugar production compound on fire and blow it up, distracting Levi and Fussar. They then release Javier. A shootout breaks out as the guards attempt to stop them escaping and Fussar and Levi flee the plantation.
During the final assault on Aguasdulces, Arthur breaks into the worker's cabin to free the ship's captain, who is being held hostage. Simon is waiting inside and tackles Arthur to the ground. He prepares to shoot him but is held at gunpoint by Dutch, who is in turn held at gunpoint by Fussar. This triggers a Mexican standoff which lasts until Arthur kicks the ship's captain a rifle, allowing him to kill Levi with a shot to the chest. Fussar then attempts to escape but is pursued and killed by Arthur.
